Saturday night my sweet girl tore her dew claw out and the quick was exposed and bleeding. Another emergency vet turned us away as it wasn’t enough an emergency, I understood they were very busy but I couldn’t let my baby be in pain all weekend and was worried about infection as she wouldn’t leave it alone licking it and was whining in pain. This clinic was very understanding and got her in just a few minutes after I got there. I was a bit nervous about it being curbside because I wanted to be with her as much as I could (she has very bad vet anxiety), but they were great with communication the entire time and got her taken care of.

Been here 3 times in total and each time I have been pleased with my experience compared to other emergency vet offices you may not like the price of a emergency animal clinic but honestly each time the bill has to me been more than reasonable compared to others and if you're going to complain about the cost of a bill to save a pet you claim to "love" or is a "member of your family" you may not be the pet owner who can give feedback that's worth listening to. First two times were when my senior cats were at the end of their lives and we had no other humane choice but to put them out of their misery unfortunately you don't always get to choose when that time would come and no other place at around midnight felt even slightly compassionate over the phone at that hour while trying to get help for a pet you've cared for the last 15+ years they gave me clear facts with realistic percentages they thought any treatments would be effective in the situation with no bullshit promises or pushing for the expensive and ultimately futile treatments that would've made made there last minute or hours alive as miserable as they could've possibly been with tests and treatments being done to them surrounded by strangers instead they got to pass on as painlessly as possible in the presence of people who have been with them from the earliest moment they came to be to the moment they passed. They helped make a moment of unbearable pain and decision making tolerable and allowed me to make the decision that was best for my pets. More recently my cat had signs of either a UTI or constipation and was taken into the office shortly after we arrived and the doctors looked him over and he was doing pretty well acting normal and told me they could do tests but given his demeanor and previous history that treatment and observation would probably best best and I'm glad to report since we got home he's been great and having no more symptoms he was before we took him in and back to his normal self. This place will always be my go to after hours place for my pets because they have consistently taken great care of my pets.

My dog was attacked by another dog with a few punctures on his back and sides. Animal Emergency Clinic took him back within 30 min (it was a weekend, but a slower day due to a snow storm). They were so kind and took great care of my baby. I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was about 1/2 of what I was expecting it to be. My dog needed 8-10 stitches and a Penrose drain, which he had to be put under for. He was with the clinic for a total of 5 hours and we had great discharge notes. We got a call back the next day checking on him. Will definitely go back again, also love that I don’t have to sit in a waiting room full of dogs. Thanks Animal Emergency Clinic!!!

While vacationing in Spokane our dog Rosie required overnight monitoring on IV meds and fluids. We transported her to Animal Emergency Clinic off of Sprague at the direction of the veterinary at Union Veterinary Hospital who worked in excellent collaboration with the overnight ER facility. The ER staff and veterinarian there were amazing, kind, excellent communicators and assessors over our dog’s health crisis and care. Dr even called us during the night of her stay to update us on her condition.
We are so thankful and so impressed and highly recommend this excellent facility for emergency animal care.

Competent, kind, compassionate.

Our dogs have been here for both emergencies --- and for overnight care while our normal vet's office closes.

They do a wonderful job of coordinating care with the regular vet. They were waiting for Toby to arrive last night as our vet's office closed and knew exactly what they were to do overnight.

And this morning, by the time I had returned Toby to the vet for daytime follow up care, they had already communicated to the vet what they had done and had updated his records.

Great service, fair pricing for emergency care and overnight care, and wonderful people. I'm so impressed.

my dog isn’t just my best friend.

he is the sunlight that grows me, the breeze the moves me, and if you feel the same way about your baby, this is the place to go.

i have been to various emergency vet clinics for multiple pets in this area, and this clinic, by far, has been the quickest, cheapest, but most importantly, the most direct. while some people dislike the curbside model because they cannot see what goes on inside the facility, as someone who works with animals professionally myself, i can see that it streamlines their operation and allows all their focus to be on the task at hand.

if you’re a pet parent that prioritizes flowery language and kurieg waiting room coffee while you listen to a family losing their best friend in exam room #2, wondering if your baby is next, don’t come here. you are not exposed to the atrocities of other injured and/or sick pets, and you sit in the comfort and privacy of your car rather than trying not to lose your mind in a waiting room that smells like iv fluids.

i am completely terrified of losing my boy, and the staff did an amazing job at giving me direct answers that helped ease my anxiety. i didn’t catch the name of the technician that chauffeured him to and from my car, but she was kind enough to give me personal recommendations of supplements to help reduce his stress levels as he ages. dr. deaver is fantastic. he gave me some extra supplements to help sooth my baby’s stomach, and took great care of him, despite my boy’s *loud* quirks.

while i spent less time talking to staff as i normally do in these instances, i think it actually made everything go a lot quicker and smoother, as they are not being overwhelmed with information they may not need, and do not have the pressure of anxious parents burning a hole through their skull as they wait.

overall, this was a wonderful experience, and i will likely never bring my babies to another emergency clinic unless necessary. thank you for taking care of my choir boy, i know he will be feeling better soon because of you <3

Our seven month old puppy Suki was going through her first heat cycle. One evening she began to yelp in pain about every 10-20 minutes. This prevented her from being able to get any kind of sleep. This continued throughout the night into the next day.

My wife and I relentlessly tried to contact Suki’s vet the next day to bring her in. We were told over text “this is normal”. With our vet being no help we decided to look elsewhere.

Animal Emergency Clinic was amazing from start to finish. I called ahead explaining Suki’s symptoms and was taken serious from the start. We were told “this is not normal” and that we should bring her in.

The clinic has a curbside setup which we really liked. You get to your parking stall, call the number, tell them your stall number, then begin the process.

Every step along the way they call you to inform you of what’s going on and what decisions you’d like to make. The vet explained to us everything looked normal, but she could give Suki something for the pain. The vet offered a pain shot and prescribed Suki some pain pills.

Later that night she got some of the best sleep of her life. Ever since then she hasn’t yelped or showed any discomfort like before. She’s back to being her energetic happy self!

Also I know every circumstance is different, but our bill was very reasonable and no where near what we thought it would be.

I can’t recommend Animal Emergency Clinic enough! From the receptionist, to the assistants, and to the vet! Thank you so much!

We had to make an emergency visit on NYE with our dog that has horrible vet anxiety. We were SO impressed by how well they handled our dog. The vet techs and the doctor were so quick and so gentle. As a result, despite feeling unwell, our dog was more cooperative with care than he has ever been. Again, we are so impressed by their skill with our dog and while communicating with us. Prices were very reasonable as well. I hope we don't have to come back, but I would definitely return if there was another emergent need.
