Amazing staff was so helpful treating our pup Brodie after a scary fall. They were so kind and reassuring during my initial panicked phone call and I am so grateful they could see us immediately! They truly went above and beyond to make sure Brodie was ok and that I was I fully informed and comfortable. They even let us hangout for a few hours in case his status changed since I was so concerned. Thank you so much to this group!

Last night we had to put my dog down. He was old and had health issues. He gave us all the signs rapidly that it was time. He was there before last year for a little stint he did. From both experiences I have no complaints. The staff are very sympathetic and understanding. When they put him down, the vet and lady at the desk, were comforting. The staff made sure he wasn’t in pain anymore and that he went comfortably. They don’t rush you when saying goodbye which is sweet. My only complaint is how expensive it is but for the average person most things are ; and for our furry family members, it’s worth every penny.

My 16 month old Boston Terrier had a luxating patella. Being that he was so young, Dr Brophy suggested the surgery to fix it. Of course I was apprehensive because he was the baby. I decided to do it so he could run and play like a dog should. I am very pleased with the results. He healed beautifully. Dr Brophy and the entire staff were amazing. Took the time to explain everything and showed kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend Dr Brophy and AERA.

Very friendly and helpful staff and doctors. Immaculate facility, clean and organized. We’ve used them both for a planned surgery as well as emergency visits for our senior smooth fox terrier, Charlie. Highly recommend them for both planned and emergency needs.

I think that staff is great. The services were extremely good. However, the do not believe the costs are reflective of the services. It is extremely overpriced. Each experience that I have unfortunately had to have has been financially excessive. I feel like that just because you love your furbaby, it should not be a means to prey on your vulnerability. I've noticed that your pet is held until you can pay. Its sad the way capitalism is at the forefront. Love your pet and pay.

My dog fell a flight of stairs and showed no signs of any problem for a few days and then couldn't walk. The pain was so acute so I took her to a local animal emergency hospital. That place failed her because they tried to reject that she was allergic to the drugs given and just blamed it on anxiety and pain. My dog does not have a history of anxiety. As she worsened with hyperventilation due to ultra severe pain (later MRI proved damaged budged spine) I brought her to this place a my dog was oxygen deprived and near death. The temporary vet saved her sending us to a hospital that has full emergency hospital service that you do not have. When this other hospital did not resolve her pain and neurological response to severe pain, I called asking for certain services and I was told to bring her down on Saturday. This time again you were not able to do the required reviews and other than a temporary pain shot did nothing to properly care for my dog because as your vet stated you do not have full service capability or staffing to care for pets. I had to go to another emergency hospital over 1 hour away and she is still in that hospital days later trying to recover from the allergic reaction and excessive oxygen deprivation she suffered as a result of uncontrolled pain. You will never be recommended! I don't even want you to have a star at all.

AERA services are stellar. Our cat was brought in as an emergency on a Sunday afternoon and the staff and doctors couldn't have been kinder. The next day the surgeon called and carefully explained, step by step, what needed to be done and the staff explained the charges. Our cat came through with flying colors and was home in 2 days. Costs are astronomical but that's the case anywhere - next animal, we get pet insurance.

Dr. Chang was absolutely outstanding. He took the time to walk us through our options with our 11 y/o Pomeranian. We didn’t even wait 2 mins from walking in to being seen (we had an apt on a Friday at 11AM). I would go back here time and time again. Super clean, state of the art facility.
