I've been brining this grumpy old lady to see Dr. Brewer for the last 5 years or so. My cat is 20-yrs-old and her kidneys are failing. The staff has always taken great care of her...even when she growls at them for sticking her in the butt. I'm moving next month, and may not be able to make the drive to bring her here, anymore. That makes me sad. Thanks for all you've done for this old lady!

I cannot say enough good things about AMCP. We came here because our very loved 14 year old dog, Maggie, had an upper respiratory infection and we felt that she was not getting adequate care at the clinic closer to our house, and because AMCP had same-day appointments. There was a frustrating lack of communication from that clinic as well. AMCP is a breath of fresh air in this regard. The vets and other staff here do not seem rushed and take their time with you and your pets, discuss options with you, walk you through the x-rays and blood work results, etc.

Unfortunately our dog had several complications of the infection (chronic cough and lung inflammation, dizziness, facial muscle wasting) and passed away after battling for three months. Dr Brewer and Dr Larson were both very thorough and gentle in their exams. I still think that if we had taken Maggie to AMCP first, she would probably still be alive today.

Dr Larson gave us palliative care medications to make Maggie's last week the best it could be, and she was also there to put Maggie to sleep. She sent us a hand-written card in the mail afterwards. We got Maggie's ashes and pawprint too.

Please take your pets here. And if your senior pet has a cough, even if it's just kennel cough and your pet is up on their flu vaccines, they are at higher risk of complications. Pop for the x-rays.

I moved to Dallas not too long ago, and I’m so glad to have found this office. Everyone is so kind, and they handle my little dog with care. Dr. Brewer is exceptional and thorough. Highly recommend!

Fantastic first experience! Dr. Cook addressed my concerns and also did two extremely thorough exams for my two fur babies. She presents herself with charisma, knowledge and professionalism. Couldn’t ask for better experience and actually looking forward to treating my babies with her 🙂

The front desk staff are so helpful and compassionate when it comes to your pet. The vets are efficient, take time to listen to you, take time to answer your questions, very caring. The vet techs treat your pet with great care.

My first visit with this practice went well. The doctor was thorough and took time to explain things. I loved the fact that she brought up cost and options, making sure we understood everything. They can do limited testing onsite, which was perfect for us.
Our cat had a UTI, got an antibiotic shot and is doing well. Happy that I didn’t have to pill him every day!

The vet and vet assistant were very nice and I was happy with the service however they charged insane prices and didn’t explain until I had no option and was paying at the end. $400+ what I have paid in the past for a regular check up/vaccines. I left the clinic frustrated with the prices and to top it off my dog had an allergic reaction to one of the vaccines that has never happened before. Her eye swole up and she got extremely itchy. The clinic was no help because they closed for the day immediately after I left Saturday at 2:00. I unfortunately will not be back.
