We switched here a couple years ago and have been very happy with all the care we have received. It's never been rushed. Very wonderful and knowledgeable staff! I love that the doctors take time to answer your questions and assess your pets.

I’ve been with this clinic for nearly 20 years and they have helped me in many cases to keep my pets happy and healthy. They will rush to help you and your pets in an emergency, and take your concerns over health issues seriously. The Dr is fair and diligent and will do whatever he can to improve your pets health. The techs and staff are all very knowledgeable and kind.

My 10 year old Staffordshire Terrier, Max and I are always treated great here. Max tends to get excited and anxious whenever we go and all the staff are really good with him. Great vet and great people. The only vet we go to.

Love love love Animal Medical Service!

From the moment when you approach the front door, your family loved one aka pet is honored by having their name on the welcome whiteboard (so thoughtful) and as you enter the lobby the staff is just amazing.

The best part is the veterinarians and vet techs who take the time to listen to any concerns and answer your questions you might have. Best care all around and why we keep coming back time and time again. ❤️

We made a big mistake by taking our 11 year old cat cc here. We took her there when she became sick and couldn't keep her food down. They ran tests and said her blood work looked ok. They gave her shots and sent her home. She was still very sick so we took her back days later. They did more blood work and x-rays and kept her there for 3 nights. They called us Thursday to come get her. She was still very sick. There was no doctor there to speak to and they were closed on Friday. We took her home. She couldn't eat or even hardly walk. Friday morning she had vomited her food back up. We then made the hard decision to have her put to sleep. Naturally this place was closed. We took her to Airport West where the doctor diagnosed the problem immediately. We had her put to sleep as there was no hope. Don't do what we did. Take your pets anywhere else. After spending lots of money here, we didn't even get so much as a sympathy card after losing our baby cc.

I am extremely upset with how my first visit was. I got there 10 minutes early and the assistant was very kind, did the full check in before letting us go inside the building (my dog had a respiratory issue and wasn’t allowed in until he was approved.) I then waited for 30 minutes in the building, an hour in total, even though I was one of two clients. The doctor came in and asked me questions, only to tell me “Well, he isn’t coughing here.” He said this a few times, making me feel like I was being dramatic for bringing him in. He then left the room and came back with two syringes and started to poke my dog with them before I stepped in and asked “What is that?” He didn’t tell me exactly what it was, and just injected it into my dog while stating “It’s an antibiotic for the coughing.” He didn’t tell me anything, he didn’t explain, and he definitely didn’t ask for consent. My dog was prescribed pills that he again didn’t explain what they were for or how they would work, and then decided he would see me on Monday (no time was stated) and left the room. I don’t want to report this or take action of any kind, but I am extremely upset about how this was handled.

400 dollars for blood work and for me and my dog to be treated like absolute crap. I called in to be scheduled for blood work and it was never put into their schedule. Which I understood they recommended I walked all the way to ace hardware on tieton because they thought I made a mistake with scheduling the wrong vet. I told them the number I called and they said it was the incorrect number and when I called it back the same receptionist answered. The nurse I got was extremely irritated with me and getting mad at me because I took her here last time for tooth extraction but she want regularly seen their mind you this isn’t exactly my personal dog my family was busy so I took her. The nurse was absolutely beyond rude. I will say the younger nurse with brunette hair was the only reason I didn’t walk out and waste everyone’s time. I recommend selah veterinary clinic it’s cheaper and the people there won’t blame you for their business issues. They use idex machinery and catalyst and the most they will charge at selah is 160 in house or out house bloodwork even if they are on medication. And everyone at selah animal medical center is nice, patient, and lets you ask questions. If you ask me the lack of information and taking advantage of your patients is ridiculous. My dog, service animal or not shouldn’t be comforting me on her worst day. And to the nurse that was kind a patient with me and Amelia and understood the stress of coming in thank you. You have no idea the comfort you brought me and Amelia that day. I pray you find a work environment that matches your empathy and patients you wonderful woman. our total at selah would’ve been $660 for 5 teeth and at tieton medical center would’ve costed us well over $1,500 for an extraction of two teeth on top of the doggie doodoo treatment. They take advantage of patients families by not offering fair prices. 2x-3x the amount compared to other clinics. And they are usually running on a lone doctor. This isn’t the first time you guys have over priced the work you do you can see almost most of your reviews are complaining about price and treatment.

The front desk staff and vet techs are incredible. I waited for an hour and a half due to some emergencies the vet was handling in the morning, no worries, they were all so kind, I didn't mind waiting at all. Got into the exam room, waited 30 minutes for the doctor/owner to come in. Right away, he comes to the dog and presses and prods at a visibly infected wound, then proceeds to tell me the dog 'almost bit him' and he needs training.. The dog did get mouthy and did the nibbling thing, because he has been protective of his paw. But also the doctor made no effort to comfort or familiarize himself with the dog before approaching him. He is a stray dog with high anxiety. I told him I work full time and live alone right now so training hasn't lined up with my schedule. He then began commenting on the harness, which is good advice but the arrogance wasn't needed. I was letting the dog sniff around (we had waited for two hours at this point and yes he was getting very antsy). He says "he's not being very patient" um, he was patient for two entire hours! Doctor says "he's leading YOU around", He tried to show me just how close the dog needs to be at all times, and ended up knocking the dogs head on the exam table..If id come for training lessons fine, but you're a doctor, DO BETTER.

If the entire experience had begun with this interaction I wouldn't have stuck around for two hours and given my hard earned money to this place.

I left feeling very uneasy about the whole thing. I even canceled my check up with him. You misjudge a dog you've met for all of 5 minutes, meanwhile he was getting complimented on how patient he was for two hours in the waiting lobby. The comments were just rude and very unprofessional.

So don’t bring your dog here if he’s a puppy that can’t wait for 2+ hours and will get antsy 🙂 that is not allowed here and you will be given an unwarranted training lesson.
