Dr. Q is the best vet I’ve ever had, hands down! I brought my young dog, Butters, in for vaccines and found out that Dr. Q is also an experienced animal behaviorist, so I inquired about what to do for some concerning behaviors (leash pulling and resource guarding). The advice she gave worked instantly!! Not only has he stopped the leash pulling, but he also stopped the resource guarding in public places, like the dog park where I was extremely fearful of him becoming aggressive with other dogs. Dr. Q is a wealth of information and so, so friendly that I always feel welcomed to ask any questions or concerns that I might have. She is a rare gift, and I highly recommend her!

Dr. Q and her amazing staff got my dog Kozmo in with no notice when we were returning from a camping trip where he tore a deep gash in is right leg. The courtesy to work him in late in the afternoon, provide such amazing care, clean him up and staple the wound got us all home safe and sound! Dr Q. also set us up with a cone-of-shame, antibiotics, probiotics, and pain relievers. Kozmo is doing GREAT, he's getting used to the cone and the wound is healing BEAUTIFULLY. Thank you Aspen Park Vet Hospital for caring for animals and people so well. We are grateful we found you!

They will hit you with a $350 upcharge on visits if your animal has been seen by another vet recently just because they want to. Pretty uncool if you ask me.

My young greyhound is experiencing some confusing & concerning spine issues. At a loss for next steps, I called 32 vet clinics just to make sure I fully explore all options to choose the most cost-effective route for treatment. I have yet to visit this clinic, however, if symptoms don’t improve through less-intensive options they are my number one next step. The customer service I received was absolutely exceptional- they took time to give me a detailed and accurate depiction of treatment & pricing. They showed empathic authentic concern, and even followed up with me next-day on a supplement inquiry. I had to speak towards this, thank you for caring!

I have been taking my cat, Katy, to see Dr. Q for years. Last December, Katy presented with some health concerns and I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Dr. Q and her staff have been amazing at helping me navigate the health concerns with Katy! At each appointment, Dr. Q has been great at explaining everything to me and making sure my questions are answered! In between appointments, the staff has also been very responsive if I have questions or concerns come up! Thank you Dr. Q and staff! Katy and I are very grateful for all the support and help!

We wanted to love this vet, as we like and appreciate the holistic approach. After our initial visit/diagnosis we found it very difficult to get a hold of Dr. Q when we had some serious health concerns with our pup. It took several days to get any kind of response back from this facility, and not from Dr. Q but the front desk staff (who were very kind and eager to help as much as they could), but we wanted to discuss our options and next steps with the doctor herself before committing to surgery or treatment - which was a big deal to us and should be taken seriously. After several back and forth interactions via email and calling in, we were still never able to talk with the doctor directly. Unfortunately we felt there was a lack of care, urgency and authenticity, which is not something we are interested in when it comes to the care of our fur baby.

Edited (per response below): This is upsetting, and further solidifies our feelings regarding the lack of professionalism and authenticity. This was the first time we brought our dog in for this issue, and chose your vet because we wanted to go a more natural and holistic approach, and also wanted to find a vet that he felt more comfortable at. He is 85 lbs of nothing but love, but he does have anxiety at the vet. By no means was he a danger to your staff, so that was a ridiculous statement. You also work with horses, so I’m not sure why you felt the need to say his size was an issue. To clarify, we came to you with concerns and you sent us home with overpriced antibiotics and a topical cream that didn’t help his issue. From there you recommended laser therapy via email, which we felt was an aggressive approach for the early stages of his condition, which required 3 visits a week as an ongoing treatment. This is not feasible for the average person’s schedule, not to mention for my dog who has anxiety going to the vet, and this kind of treatment is also extremely expensive. This felt like a cash grab. After this recommendation was given to us we asked to speak to you about it and to discuss alternative solutions. It took several days of reaching out to your office to get any kind of response, and we never were able to speak with you directly to discuss this matter. Your records should show you that. In the meantime I took it upon myself to do my own research and speak with others who have also dealt with this condition and had success, and that is when I chose to go the route I did. I asked your office if you could write us a prescription for that medication, which I very much appreciate the ladies helping me see that through. At no point did I see Dr. Hunt(?) or any other vet at your facility, all communication was through your front staff. There was no follow up after the prescription was made (nor did I expect that), our business at your vet was done at that point. I don’t appreciate the exploitation of personal information on Google, but since its already out there I wanted to make sure the facts were straight for those considering visiting your practice with their beloved pets. For the record, our boy is seeing incredible results and is weening off all medications. We have been able to eliminate his allergies with a new raw diet, which we believe was the culprit for his other conditions. I would have expected exploring the root cause of his issues to be a first step from a holistic practice like yours, but I suppose that would be far less expensive and complicated than laser therapy. I appreciate the time you and your staff spent with us, but respectfully your practice isn't a good fit for us. We do wish you the best.
