We are always happy with the attention our dogs get at Blackhawk! Unlike other vets in our area, they will make time for your pet if urgent because they care. They give honest advice and doctor Wert has experience and knowledge that can be trusted. The staff is caring and friendly and the clinic is always clean and tidy. We have several dogs ranging from 10 lbs to 130 lbs with different temperaments and functions on the farm. They treat them all as individuals based on their unique needs. When we’ve had to put our senior dogs down, we received a hand written note and an ink-print of his nose.

A bit pricey but it’s worth it to me, the staff has always been friendly, informative and truly caring towards my cat and my dog, only vet I take them too for this reason!

ZERO STARS. They should have their license revoked. I am not exaggerating and rarely leave bad reviews for anything. Our dog has an asymmetrical lump on her head, going on 2 months and getting worse. She shrieks and cowers if you touch it. This so called vet spent no more than 90 seconds in the back with our dog, came back and said she's totally fine. We have her a full exam (in 90 seconds?)

When asked about the lump on her head, she VERY condescendingly replies "that's her skull". So I guess we had no choice but to leave. They had the nerve to charge us $90 for this 90 second "full exam"

I'm furious. What a POS excuse for a veterinarian.

Meanwhile our dog is droopy eyed and tired, wont let us pet her, probably has a tumor or something and we can't be taken seriously. ZERO STARS

I cannot express enough how grateful I am to this veterinary hospital. They always go above and beyond in the care they provide my fur babies. They're very attentive when listening to any concerns I have. The technicians took the time to follow up the next day with a call to make sure everything was still going good, and to go over any questions I had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I personally will not use another except Blackhawk. They were excellent with the care of my cat. They were kind courteous and had absolutely nothing but compassion for her. They may be pricey but this has taught me a lesson,sad to say but true...you get what you pay for. I had assistant with this emergency but regardless My cat(s) will return there. Not a second thought there!

Staff was fabulous and very caring! They were able to get my dog in quickly when other Vets did not answer their phones. Blackhawk was honest and provided a very reasonable estimate ahead of time. They took her in for dental surgery right away and she was home within six hours. The bill should have been two-three times the estimate! I was SO thankful and appreciative! The staff made themselves available for questions and concerns and followed up on her recovery three times. I have already recommended Blackhawk to other friends! I cannot thank them enough!! Will be going back and highly recommend them!

Very Caring people. They made time to see my dog immediately on a Monday as she was seriously ill. They are understanding of our financial limitations in treating my dog. We are so fortunate that we have that kind of care here in Cheney. Our pets are our babies.

Blackhawk almost always gets us in the same day or the next day, even if we aren't having an emergency. The staff is very friendly and the doctors are very straight-forward about what would be best for our pets. They were also very helpful and compassionate when we had to put our kitty down last year after giving us every opportunity to give him a few more weeks with us. Highly recommend!
