Bond Vet is basically useless. I have a Rottweiler a year old who is reactive with people touching her. They prescribed gabapentin and to return a few weeks later to be able to examine her for back pain. She is muzzle trained.

There is only a male doctor which is not good because a lot of dogs (mine is) don’t like men, so they should employ a woman doctor as well.

Also, they said they have “no experience with large or working dogs”, so they can’t do anything about my dog in terms of examining or giving vaccines.

I have been to other vets who have easily given her shots and examined her paws with methods that weren’t fear-based and still safe for everyone involved.

What kind of vet doesn’t know how to handle bigger dogs My dog is only 70 pounds and I (110 pounds) can easily hold her still myself for shots and for others to examine her. Even after they charged me the vet fee of $130 the first time just to tell me they can do the examining and shots when she comes back and then take it back. The women even got to examine her legs too but the male doctor refused to even try.

Disappointing. Only come here if you have a tiny pet.

Bond vet is a wonderful place. The people at the reception desk are kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The nurses extend genuine care to your pet as well as you as the owner. Dr. Greenspan is a wonderful vet. She is caring, approachable, and detail oriented. I am a first time cat owner with a kitten who had a minor but persistent health issue, and Dr. Greenspan always answered my myriad and frequent emails with great detail and thoughtful answers, always respecting and responding to my concerns for my pet. I've been going to Bond Vet now for a couple of years due to my cat having lymphoma. Our original vet, Dr Michelle Meyers was wonderful but unfortunately left. We now see Dr Bryan Anderson who is also extremely good. He really cares about our cat JJ and takes the time to listen to our concerns and answered all of our questions. The entire staff (Keisha, Tiendra, Julian) were professional and friendly and all really seem to care about all the pets that come in. The office is also very pleasant with separate cubicles in the waiting room so your pets aren't crowded. They also have an impressive computerized system where you can see all your pets Dr visit summary, blood work, and invoices almost better than some human doctor places. I would highly recommend Dr Anderson and this location.

We live around the corner and love bond vet! You can usually get same day appointments and the staff is helpful and kind.
Even though they are closed on weird days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) if you need to go to the vet urgently you can always make an appointment at one of the other Bond Vet locations (and it is seamless because you are already in the system!).
They are very transparent about pricing and have great documentation, you will always know your options and the cost before any treatment is done.

THEY LOST MY CAT'S BLOOD SAMPLE.

Back in December, my cat had a UTI, and my primary vet in Chicago recommended a follow-up blood test because she has a history of kidney issues. Since I’m currently a student in NYC, I decided to take her to Bond Vet for the blood draw, thinking it would be a simple, straightforward process. I wasn’t picky about which vet I chose because all they had to do was take her blood and run the test, and my primary vet would handle the rest. Sounds easy, right? Wrong.

Two days later, I got a call telling me that they LOST my cat’s blood. This meant I had to take my cat back out into the freezing NYC weather (I don’t have a car) to redo the entire procedure.

This wasn’t just an inconvenience; it was unnecessary stress on my cat and me.

Easy to make an appointment. Got in right away/didn't wait long and they even put us in a room so my nervous & cranky cat could be away from the very enthusiastic puppy who was there that day for his first checkup (too cute).

Dr. Anderson was great. Very gentle with George and very understanding of George's less than stellar attitude and very vocal protests about being at the vet.

We were in/out in less than a half hour which makes it better for all involved since my cat really is unpleasant about his annual visit.

Both the vets at Bond at 112th--Dr. Anderson and Dr. Greenspan-- are EXCELLENT--caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The receptionists and nurses are also friendly and efficient. Dr. Greenspan went out of her way to call twice about my sick cat and do some investigating into what kind of probiotic the cat might accept. I hope Bond at 112th can soon manage to be open seven days a week. The neighborhood badly needs a caring, efficient veterinary service like this one.

It took me a week to get a fecal sample to have sent to the lab because my cat is having diarrhea all the time. It could be worms. Probably is. I paid for the test on November 17 and brought the sample on the 24th. I’ve been waiting with knots in my stomach for the results only to be told on November 27 that they recommend a fecal test that would cost an additional $115. I called and spoke to the doctor and she said they didn’t have the sample tested because they didn’t realize it had been paid for (despite the large PAID sticker on the sample tube). She told me they’d have it tested and I’d have the results in another 3 days. Then I get an email that the lab no longer has the sample. Now I have to collect another stool sample within 2 hours of being able to get it to them which could take another week and then have to wait another 3 days for the results. The doctor and staff are very kind and professional and I’d like to give them a better rating but this mistake is unacceptable. Test my cat’s shit and I’ll get him fixed up somewhere else.
