I can't say enough good things about Dr. Buchalter and the team at Bond Vet w77th st! They went above and beyond to help my dog, who really struggles to be handled by people, feel comfortable, safe and supported during her visit and were excellent throughout the entire process. For anyone with a dog who needs some extra love at the vet, you simply cannot do better than Dr. B and her team.

I do not recommend Bond Vet. My two cats have been patients for three years and now we are switching. The individuals, techs, and doctors who work here are all fine but the parent company has not set my pets up for success. They seem to be all about scale and $$$ private equity above patient outcomes. The Emergency Room care that I ended up needing also said they are very often “cleaning up messes after Bond Vet” and they recommended I switch providers ASAP, too. Both of my cats have been fine with routine checkups here. But when each of them, separately, have actually been sick or injured, I have both times regretted taking them to Bond Vet.

I've primarily used the 77th Street location because it's closest to me, but have used several other locations over the last few years when this location is booked. My experience has been consistently excellent across locations.

Despite the size of the business, the staff and the doctors make you feel welcomed, they give you what feels like all the time in the world, and we've always felt like our animals were truly cared for after our visits.

I've also never felt like I was being pushed to pay for unnecessary procedures, etc. I've found the people here to be highly ethical and trustworthy. I highly recommend.

Thanks, especially to Dr. Addison Spitzer for being so generous with his time in caring for my two dogs. Also, Dr. Keston Smith's work as the specialist in dental surgery has been second-to none. His hard work and careful explanations have been incredible. Thanks to everyone at Bond Vet!

I brought my cat here in September for vaccine updates. When the dr. took her into the back room for her shots, he trimmed her nails without asking my permission. I do not trim my cats nails as she doesn't scratch & I just don't find it's necessary for her. I told him and the receptionist that I was very upset by this, no one was apologetic. They sort of just shrugged & looked at me blankly. Later when I was emailed asking how my appointment went, I reiterated that, and no one replied.

Fast forward to now, 5 of my cat's nails have grown back super thick & into a hook shape as if they're going to dig into her little toes. I'm so furious!!!! She's NEVER had this issue before in the 14 years I've had her. I have no idea what to do about this & I'm just so upset that this vet caused a problem that never even existed to begin with. I called a few days ago to ask for help & no one got back to me so now I'm on here.

I'm so so upset for my kitty!!!!

I took my dog to Bond Vet today for the first time. I have a serious fear of veterinarian offices. I have to totally trust everyone in the building with the love of my life. I don’t know that I have been happier with a veterinarian in my life!! You DEFINITELY want to come here. ESPECIALLY if you’re living in the UWS!!! Can’t rave enough about how wonderful they were.

My first experience as a cat dad bringing my kitten for her check up/ vaccination. (Ear infection)
Comfortable, clean space, friendly staff.
My kitten was well examined and taken care off.Shout out to Julian for his patience with me and explaining and breaking things down for me with good detail. I look forward to my next visit. And most importantly my Kitty already looks healthier.

We switched from our long-time veterinarian recently to Bond Vet on the Upper West Side and have been thrilled with both Dr. Spitzer and the practice in general. The waiting and patient rooms are beautiful. The practice is fully up to date on the technology side, and most importantly, Dr. Spitzer really knows his stuff. We can tell that he really cares about our dog. I couldn't recommend Dr. Spitzer and this establishment highly enough if you're looking for a new vet.
