I appreciate being able to make a same day appointment for my pup. The individual working at reception could not have been friendlier both in person and on the phone. She welcomed us with a smile and was patient with us when checking out. I observed this type of care as she greeted others. The vet and vet nurse were kind and answered all my questions. I understand that vet care is expensive and often reviews factor that in; however, I was happy to see the costs of recommendations before agreeing. It can be shocking to say the least. I did not feel pressured into running extra tests and was given time to make a decision.

I had an experience at Bond Vet on 91st that pet owners should be aware of. From the start, the staff and doctor were off-putting, not taking the time to explain things or really listen, which was already alarming. Then, after my dog’s exam, I waited 20 minutes with no explanation, only to finally be told—casually and as an afterthought—that she had been given an expired rabies vaccine. Instead of addressing it upfront, they omitted the truth and let me sit there while they scrambled to figure things out.

This is a serious mistake. Why were expired vaccines even accessible? Why weren’t they checked beforehand? Why did I only find out after waiting and asking questions? This level of negligence and incompetence is unacceptable, and it raises real concerns about their overall attention to detail.

The manager later called to apologize, but for the level of trauma this caused, they absolutely could have done more to make it right. Because of that, I will never go back.

Be aware of not just how people treat your pet, but how they handle serious mistakes. Ask yourself: Is this the type of service you think is acceptable for your dog—or any dog? Seriously.

This was a terrible and traumatic experience that I will never forget. If you bring your pet here, double-check everything but quite honestly I would not.

I had to unfortunately euthanize my 14 yr old Yorkie on New Year’s day. This clinic was amongst the few that were open. At first, I had scheduled the appointment for 5pm but ended up calling and asking to come in earlier since my dog was rapidly declining.

They were able to fit me in and once i stepped foot in the door, they were immediately ready to preform CPR on my dog. I appreciate the lady at the front desk, the nurse and the doctor for working quickly and supporting my family through this difficult time.

I was even able to pick out the urn and we filled out all paperwork needed prior to the euthanasia so we didn’t have to stick around after the appointment. We were also told we could stay for as long as we liked and could leave when we’re ready.

This team was absolutely incredible and deserve nothing but the best !

Amazing vet practice. I have two pets who don’t do well with the vet, and they treat them with so much respect and love. Always willing to answer and questions I may have. Truly amazing.

Unfortunately this place when I went for his yearly visit vaccination, did not feel they really cared enough. All was going well till at the end the assistant of Amanda D. came to the lobby for me to give my dog his oral bortadella medicine because she said they could not do it. She said they were having difficult time administering it. Here
I am in the lobby administering the medicine and coming up with ways to give it to my dog. Good thing the only witnesses were the camera and the front desk woman. I will think they will have tricks up their sleeves on how to give medicine to anxious dogs. Suffice to say I do not feel confident on bringing my dog to this location specifically. If this continues on this type of chain I will have to stop my services. I can put up besides social worker on my resume veterinary assistant.

Everyone please make sure to look for a neighborhood vet that actually care about your pet instead of chains like Bond Vet. The vet did not care about my pet at all. They were only interested in running all these expensive tests. The test results did not provide any insight, and the only thing the vet could say was "to take the pet to the ER". The pet has been slowly getting better but the vet is unwilling to work with me and needs to escalate the procedures needed. I would not recommend this Bond Vet to people.

If I could give a -1 star- I would. The clinic is nice but super expensive. I took my completely healthy dog to a regular check up and his regular allergy shot. It was a very regular visit. The doctor did not express no passion nor love for my dog but when it came to bill me then she was very professional . For annual visit and 2 vaccines she charged me $600 then she said that she was very concerned about his ears and I agreed to the test and meds. . Then all kind of test were almost forced to me to make my bill as high as possible - $1200. When I firmly stated that I will not do it at this time- there was no more interest to me. After the visit my dog was getting the ear drops prescribed . It’s the 3 rd day and he does not eat, has diarrhea and vomiting. I called the office and the secretary said that I will be charged again for the visit. The doctor did not even bother calling back yo inquiries about my dog’s condition. I am on my way to the urgent care. So if you want to pay a lot and kill your animal- this is the place for you
