This place should not be open, I took my cat there because there was no place open. A few days ago my cat was acting strange. The vet is very old and you can't understand what he is saying. He told me my cat was fine and had no problems. A few days later I took my cat to another place and his diagnosis was that he was sick and died. I feel so guilty for listening to this old man. Don't take your pets there. The care is cheap but I paid for it with my cat's life.

I just saw the vet a few minutes ago and was disturbed by what I saw in the “exam” room. I’ve attached pictures so you can see what I’m talking about. The vet seemed nice enough but very old school. As others have mentioned, it was just him and no other staff. He took multiple phone calls during my visit to schedule other patients.

I was not happy to see multiple open containers of bleach and a cup of syringes that may or may not have been previously used. I did not see a sharps container for disposal. He wanted to do an injection and I refused due to what I saw. I would recommend seeing another vet in the area.

Call ahead vet is just as it says. You call Dr. Novick when your ready to go to him. My cat Bella was having terrible seizures. I hadnt any funds at the time, and Dr. Novick still examined Bella, and unfortunately informed me that Bella was indeed on her 9th life, and i just wanted her to stop her suffering. I held her as she took her last breath.
Where would Bella and I have been if Dr. Novick didnt give me an emergency appointment knowing that I had no money with me?
I dont even want to think about how my beloved cat of 8 years

The office presence is old school. The vet took great care of my cat. She had an upper respiratory infection and was in bad shape. She's so much better now. The vet was very nice and compassionate. I was skeptical at first but I'm glad I went there.

Would give 0 stars if I could. This practice should not be open. first off there were bottles of bleach laying around, syringes laying around as well. It literally looked abandoned inside. This man, although he is nice, he should NOT be in practice. I brought my 7 week old kitten in because she was attacked by a dog. He looked at her and said all of her injuries were superficial and i should put hydrogen peroxide on them. I went home and followed doctors orders until i realized her jaw was cracked. How did i (not a vet at all) notice this and not him? (the professional) I had to take her for emergency surgery and spent 5k on her fractured jaw, in which he assured me there was “no fracture.” Do not bring your animal here unless you want to be misdiagnosed.

Dr Novick was so sweet and good with me and the dog. Please ignore the bad reviews because he is simply old school compared to what we are used to. He was very friendly and quick in his service. The dog needed its rabies shot and i was worried that it was a little too soon for her but he explained why it’s okay for her to get it now (unlike the other vet who refused to get her the rabies shot and insisted that my dog needed it at 4 months old). He gave us everything we needed, including the certificate, the shot and the rabies tag for he dogs collar. He was very talkative and personal in his appointment. I really enjoyed it. He doesn’t have anyone helping him it’s just him in his office but I don’t think that’s a bad thing. He is so affordable.
