Dr. Shannon has been our pets’ doctor since 2004 and we have nothing but raves for her, the staff, and her clinic as a whole!! She has only given our furry family members the best care, compassion, and healthcare of any veterinarian in the entire area. Everyone is very responsive and helpful. They email when their office has closures for holidays, training, etc. I notice the same staff, which I believe says a lot about employees being happy there. As a first-time visitor to this clinic, I had a disappointing experience that left me feeling uncomfortable and pressured. From the beginning of our appointment, Dr. Shannon made me feel judged when I initially declined some optional blood work for my dogs. This seemed to trigger a series of passive-aggressive comments and what felt like accusations about my pet parenting.

The uncomfortable environment and pressure tactics eventually led me to agree to all suggested testing and services, resulting in an $800+ bill for what was supposed to be a routine annual checkup and vaccines for my two dogs.

While I understand that veterinarians want the best for our pets and comprehensive testing can be valuable, I believe patient communication should be respectful and educational rather than judgmental. Pet owners should feel supported in making informed decisions about their pets' care without feeling shamed or pressured.

Further, they clipped one of my dog's toenails too short and she was bleeding the majority of the evening.

I value transparency, respect, and partnership in veterinary care, and unfortunately, those elements were missing in this experience.
