I brought my 2 month old puppy, who I had just recently adopted from the shelter, here when she needed care and monitoring due to her having a severe case of pneumonia. Her one and only problem was the pneumonia which nearly killed her, but no other health issues. She was very young and weak without being able to even walk around really. Upon our 3rd day in a row of having to drop her off at the clinic (she needed to be on oxygen everyday at that point) I went inside to get her and I noticed she was MUCH weaker and something was wrong. Her IV had a malfunction and instead of putting the crucial liquids she needed inside of her tiny little body, it was SUCKING her blood up!! I could see the blood flowing through the tubes. How horrifying was that to see! How ignorant do you have to be as an establishment meant to monitor and care for animals to let a mistake like this happen? And even more horrific was that the tech on the shift at the time, Holly (who is now the manager), was on her computer paying absolutely no attention to her to the point she didn’t realize this already dying puppy had been getting her blood sucked out of her for god knows how long. She only noticed because I pointed it out! How careless and unreliable of a team that people trust and rely on to save and help their babies! The next day when I had to drop her off again, Dr. Miranda told me that she was now most likely not going to survive because she was now suffering from being ANEMIC due to the blood loss. Due to them SUCKING the blood from her already weakened body battling pneumonia at 8 weeks old. She came very close to dying the next few days and miraculously is still here today thank god. No thanks to the now manager Holly. I hope someone with corporate authority may see this and go over both the camera footage from February 20th 2024 before closing time and Nanami’s diagnosis history to see the outrageous negligence shown by Holly that day. Now that I am no longer an employee there I feel safe enough to finally expose this disgraceful truth. If this doesn’t show the biggest form of unreliability from a clinic, I don’t know what else could.

We love CityVet! After a couple of less than desirable experiences with another local vet, we decided to try CityVet. From the first visit, we have felt super comfortable with them. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they seem eager to get to know our pets and us. We highly recommend them!

I absolutely love CityVet - Bedford! The staff is always so kind, friendly, and consistent—I see the same familiar faces every time I walk in, and they always know my dog by name. My sweet, shy Great Pyrenees, Walter White, can be a little reserved, but he always comes walking out so happy after his visits.

I've had nothing but great experiences with their bathing, grooming, and boarding services. The care and attention they give to every pet truly set them apart. And Shay is hands down the best groomer in town! She takes such great care of Walter, and I always know he’s in the best hands.

I tell you what, I don't write reviews but I really want to share my experience with mid-cities and Dr. Rutherford with My 16yr. Old female "Maggie" she's been diagnosed with Oral Melanoma and it hasn't been going well. This is my 1st dog on my own and she is like my daughter and I am her daddy . They have been very helpful

Great experience at this clinic, Dr Neely was very thorough explaining some lab results and the course of action, he is very personable, their rates are reasonable ,and most important I didn’t feel like I was being sold to.
My best friends recommended this clinic and I can see why… great trustworthy place

Update, it’s been a few years since I’ve been taking my dogs here and I still can’t say enough about this place, Dr Rutherford has been awesome helping us navigate getting care for Frank our frenchy that has terminal cancer. And with the right meds we’ve almost gotten an extra year out of him.
The techs that we use for grooming are awesome as well, and very caring.
Totally happy with this place and definitely recommend it to everyone

This is not endorsed by City Vet. This is my personal opinion about City Vet. My daughter is a groomer at this City Vet, besides that, I really love the people that works with her. They are so sweet and very helpful whenever I had an emergency with my dog and my daughter was out of town. They took her in, examined her, and kept an eye on her all day until she was OK. The Vets there are super nice and really cares about their patients and the pet parents. I would recommend this Vet office to anyone looking for an experienced, caring, and positive place to take your pet to for routine checks. If you want the best groomers this is the place to bring your pets plus they have a boardinghouse for parents that need to go out of town. It's an amazing place!!

We saw Dr. Neely. today for a second opinion. We had not been to Cityvet before this. He was amazing. He took his time with us, gave us a variety of options for treatments, and helped us to feel more at peace. He helped us formulate a path forward that was clear and made us feel confident and hopeful. His honesty was reassuring. We will definitely be making him our regular vet going forward. Highly recommended him.

I love CityVet! I recently rescued a Golden Doodle named Charlie who had been severely neglected. His hair was extremely matted and he was in horrible shape. I called and they immediately got me in so they could help. Charlie ended up having to be sedated and shaved in order to get all of the matting out. Dr. Neely is so kind and personable. He called me himself and talked with me about the situation and assured me that they were going to take care of everything and answered any questions that I had. Shay was the groomer who groomed Charlie. She is AMAZING!! You can tell she truly has a one of a kind love for animals and I felt so comfortable letting her groom Charlie. If you need someone to groom your dog, definitely ask for Shay! I will definitely be using her from now on. The front office staff are also very kind and communicate with you very well throughout the process and it made me feel so at ease! When I picked Charlie up from being sedated, they were even so kind enough to help me get him in the car.
THANK YOU CityVet!!! I truly appreciate everything you have done for Charlie. He is on the road to living a great life! (I will post before and after pictures) 😊
