We had to make the difficult decision to put our dog down last September. We knew he’d be more comfortable having this done at home as opposed to being in a vets office. Compassionate Care was amazing from the moment we called until I picked up his ashes. They explained every step in the process, gave us time to grieve, and showed true compassion. The vet who came out had such a calming presence and put us instantly at ease. I cannot recommend this company enough. We will absolutely use them again in the future.

Dr. Jessica was so kind and compassionate during such a hard time. She was patient as we said our goodbyes and explained the process and waited until we were ready.
We can’t thank you enough for everything, and especially for coming out the same day we called so that our kitty didn’t have to suffer anymore.
From the first call you make to the very end they are so thoughtful and caring, they made it the best experience it could have been in the circumstances, and their prices are very fair.
We were able to do the process in our backyard with our kitty so he could feel the breeze and hear the birds chirp and be where he loved the most, with the people he loved the most in his final moments. She even helped us with getting his paw prints in our own DIY clay keepsake we had purchased, she didn’t have to do that but it just shows how much they care.
He passed very peacefully and is no longer in pain and for that I am so grateful.
We highly recommend this company when the time comes and you have to make this hard decision.

I cannot recommend Compassionate Care enough. Dr. Paula came to our house to put our sweet Olive to rest. She was so kind and compassionate in such a dark time. She thoroughly communicated the process and what to expect with the procedure and also how our other dog may react and she was spot on. I’m so grateful for her and the service as heart shattering as it was. The customer service I received before and the questions I had after were also communicated quickly and effectively from the admin side of it too. Thank you again for everything ❤️

cannot thank compassionate care enough. my lucy was dying of cancer and I’m so thankful I spent the little extra money for in home care. lucy didn’t have to leave her comfy spot on the couch and passed so peacefully, I couldn’t even tell when she took her last breath. the vet was so sweet and welcoming to my other cat who was exploring her and the having the experience of losing his momma. everything went so smoothly and I can’t imagine saying goodbye any other way. thank you 🤍

I'm extremely grateful that these people exist. I was amazed at how easy this process was, and how compassionate the entire experience felt. The doctor treated our dog so well and really helped her feel safe as she passed away in our arms. I also very much appreciated that they didn't accept payment until the day of, and allowed cancellation up until 4 hours before our appointment - it just felt like we could change our mind at any moment if we needed to.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Very happy that we get her ashes back and a paw print, too.

It looks like the previous reviews said something about the people over the phone however, my experience with the people over the phone was fantastic and addition to the person who came to our home to take care of this for us was absolutely amazing. They made experience feel like we were doing right by our pet and I could not have asked for better way to send him off. Thank you so much compassionate care for doing this and being there for us when we needed you five stars would recommend.

The first time I used this service it was fantastic; amazing intake person, very compassionate staff and an overall very loving experience. So imagine my surprise when I have to put down another animal a year later and I get the opposite. The person who answers calls lacks any compassion, any sense of empathy. She treated me like I was booking a hair appointment, it felt so disrespectful considering how heavy this moment is. Yall need better front facing people because this interaction was NOT IT.

Dr. Marie was an angel who helped us through making this devastating decision. We were nervous if we were making the right choice and she totally put our minds at peace and was such a calming and healing presence. We also had Beth for our senior kitty who was just as good. We’ll be using them for the rest of our lives. Awesome people.
