We have been going to Downtown veterinary Associates for about a month for our pet cat Claudia and they have been so helpful. Unfortunately we found out Claudia had late stage Kidney Disease and despite trying multiple treatments to help her, she had to be put down today. They were helpful and supportive throughout the whole process and would recommend them to all pet owners.
Their pricing seem to also be aligned with other vets in the area.

Downtown Veterinary Associates at 282 First Street (off Newark Ave) has proven to be an invaluable vet practice for my many dogs and my cat. I first moved to downtown Jersey City from Chelsea, Manhattan in October 2015 and I was looking for a veterinary practice that would come close to the excellent veterinary office I had used for many years in Chelsea. I can definitely say that Downtown Veterinary Associates has surpassed all my expectations. The vets at Downtown Veterinary are knowledgeable and updated on every aspect of vet care and expertly address my concerns and questions. The techs are thorough in doing intake and interact very well with my pets. The staff at the front desk are all attentive to my questions and treat my doggies and cat as special guests. All of the members of the DVA staff that we interacted with are incredibly warm and passionate about pet care. We know that they did everything they could for our cat, and they were realistic about her prognosis. They offer a wide range of care and they have many professionals on staff, so appointments were able to be scheduled promptly. They were upfront about pricing and they gave us tiered options for treatment.

Gracie, our almost 2 year old lab has been going to Downtown Veterinary Associates since we got her at 9 weeks old. To this day, it’s one of her favorite places to go whenever she has an appointment. The vets and service here is amazing! I’ve been bringing my senior dachshund girl here for a while, and recently she had an emergency. This time we saw Dr.Drelich, who took precautions, gave good insights and helped greatly. The staff and as well as her, addressed updates and any following concerns at such a caring level!
