Really wonderful animal hospital. We established care here for our 85lb English Labrador, Samwise. He loves everyone & everyone we've met at East Padden Animal Hospital seems to love him, too. Even their invoices list a $0.00 charge for "10000 extra hugs and kisses" on it. How sweet!

They were especially VERY understanding of Sam's energy, build, and excited demeanor. He can get a bit out of control when he is happy! They have lots of great advice. We will definitely be continuing his care here.

Recently, Dr. Marie Kufus checked Samwise over for his annual wellness exam, took care of routine vaccinations, and provided prescriptions for preventatives, etc.

My new cat was in distress. My friends referred me to East Padden Animal Hospital & they were so helpful on the phone & were able to see us early that same day. They took excellent care with my guy, provided clear explanation of what was going on & options how to proceed. They followed up the next day & following week to see how things were going! There are Vets and then there are caring and wonderful Vets! Our experience with East Padden Animal Hospital was such a positive one. From the front check in desk to the techs to the Veterinarians, all so kind and professional! Dr. Caitlin Antes Is absolutely wonderful!

We were able to get our kitten in the same day for a rashy legion on his neck. We saw Dr. Chanel Baron, who was very personable and kind, and even stayed late for us on a holiday weekend to try and help our baby. Her course of treatment fixed the issue for his neck. All of the staff was helpful and efficient, and their communication is above and beyond any medical or vet clinic I've ever dealt with. We ended up calling this office again in November when our kitten swallowed a toy and had an obstruction. East Padden got us in same day, and was able to even get him on schedule that day for emergency surgery! They were transparent on costs and expectations and communicated updates every step of the way. Dr. Baron and the entire team literally saved our kittens life. Thank you East Padden Team!

I can't say enough positive things about East Padden Animal Hospital! My Benny boy had to visit four different times this week due to some unexpected health issues, and each time, the staff was incredibly compassionate and professional. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable with the treatment plan.

The veterinarians and vet techs were knowledgeable and attentive, showing genuine care for my dog's well-being. During one of my visits, I became very emotional communicating my worries for my dog’s life - the vet tech, Annabelle, went above and beyond to grab a glass of water and tissues for me, and later on shared her own personal experience with a pet that added some peace of mind. Despite the circumstances, I felt supported throughout the entire process.

A special thank you to Dr. Anderson, Dr. Hawkins, Dr. Carr, Vet Tech Annabelle, and client liaison Traci for taking such great care of my baby!

My family found East Padden Animal Hospital after not having any hope or confidence in our local vets. After doing research and getting a referral from our fur baby's cardiologist we made an appointment for him to visit the clinic. They staff took such great care of our Royal bug, called to check up on him, and made us feel as though he was the most important living thing in the world. They are open seven days a week and do their best to make sure every animal in crisis is seen when need be. I love this clinic and would not take my animals anywhere else.

I have been with East Padden for a little over 5 years now and they are amazing! We've had some negative experiences, but mostly positive. Anything negative was addressed immediately and their customer service rep is absolutely amazing!

To start off with, they are always kind, welcoming, and have never turned any of my pets away. Their prices are in the average range for care. They have a large team that can accommodate both people and their pets. East Padden offers many services and scheduling with them is easy.

As for the negative experiences, to keep things relatively short, we own two pups who are under the "aggressive breed" category. One vet put in the exam report that we had an aggressive dog, he was only 4months old, so when we called to inquire, nobody could give us an answer. There was no documentation or communication. It took several hours to be reached out back to. The vet claimed our pup tried to bite him, but we were never told this - we asked how it went when they took him in the back during the exam, and they said it went very well. We knew this vet had little experience with this breed and only ever owned small dogs, so we believe he was scared and didn't know how to handle it.

The second scenario was with my 3y old pit/lab mix, who is sweet but can have some anxiety (just whining). The vet was adamant that I medicate her, run labs, and give all vaccines, to which I declined because it's my right as a dog owner to choose what medication to give my dog. I accepted all major vaccines, but declined the tests and flu vaccines. Well, the vet didn't like that I declined, so she refused to see me again.

As for the solutions, the customer rep and the vet techs were all so very sweet. I was recommended 3 specific vets (Dr Lee, Thompson, and another). I don't quite remember their names, but one was the owner. We were told they have experience with large and "aggressive breeds" and accept owners opinions. Well let me tell you, this was spot on! We will only see these three vets from now on, and look forward to continuing to see East Padden through them! I appreciate how understanding and willing they are. They know how to introduce items to dogs, be calm, and most importantly communicate.
