Thank you to the wonderful team for taking care of my Hannah. We were referred by our primary and they immediately took care of us. She ate string from a toy and after several long and stressful hours, they were able to remove it.

I got timely check up calls about my girl and they never once were bothered by me at all. I even called a few times in addition because I missed my Hannah and needed more updates and they were friendly and comforting.

I feel comfortable and safe with this team. I trust them with all of my fur babies.

I would recommend this place to anyone. We had to bring my cat, Butters in after our vet referred us. Dr A (can't remember how to spell the whole name) was absolutely incredible. He was empathetic but also educated us on what was truly happening. He gave us 4 options to treat him. Although, the end result was not what we hoped for, I am thankful for the experience we had. Thank you for treating my Butters with such kindness and trying to help as much as possible. He even called the next day to check on Butters, but ultimately we had to make the hardest decision.

I can’t even put into words what an amazing experience we had with this practice.
Our reactive giant schnauzer mix developed a spontaneous pneumothorax and went through many procedures. We were kept updated every single day, multiple times a day.
Every single person had the upmost compassion and was extremely empathetic.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for saving our sweet girl. We wouldn’t know what to do without her.

It's hard to express what my American Pit Bull Luna means to me and having to surrender my ability to have control over her health when things get beyond is a very scary thing. So when a recent health concern arose and I had to surrender that to others I could not have placed it in better hands. From the front desk, to the techs, doctors and specialists that have given her the same concern and care I do is a blessing. (I'm writing this waiting for her to return from some testing). For what it means to you from a complete stranger all I can say is that if you have concerns for your precious pet and find yourself in the same place I am look no further.

Just want everyone to be aware of Flower Mound Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center. Our momma dog went into labor on Sunday at 7pm. For a couple hours she pushed annd couldn’t have the babies. We call every emergency vet clinic in Denton,Flower Mound, Lewisville, Keller, Veterinary emergency group in Fort Worth. They told us to bring her in. We got to Veterinary emergency group and sat an hour and a half and they did a sonogram and said all puppies heart rates where good but we would need to take her somewhere else to have a c-section. We called around again and Flower Mound Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center told us to bring her in. Once we got there, we told them at this point she had been pushing 6 hours and in need of a c-section asap. She had one puppy in the truck on the way and it was stillborn because it was stuck in the birth canal so long. They told us they wouldn’t do a c-section because their protocol was to give medication to make her labor more. This went on for three hours before they could do it. After 30 minutes of arguing with them, they started the medication. After two hours, she still didn’t have a baby and I was on the floor with her I noticed the sack of a baby trying to come out. I noticed the puppy was coming out backwards because I could see its feet. We called the vet in and they had to pull the puppy. They put my dog through a lot of pain to deliver the baby. It took them several minutes to get the puppy to respond. I again asked to do a c-section due to these dogs have a very hard time having puppies. I didn’t want to put her through this stress and the puppies not making it. They again refused. They told us since she had one, they would need to give her more medication and let her have them on her own. Two more hours go by and still no babies. They finally agreed to have the c-section and told us we had to pay $6000 upfront before they would do it. I was very upset about the price but we were hung over a barrel and had no choice. I paid them and we went home. They said they would call us with an update as soon as they were done. We left at 5:30 in the morning. I waited and waited for them to call. At 9:30am I called and asked how my baby was doing and they said they were just finishing up and would call me back in 5 minutes. 45 min later, I called again because still no phone call. Finally, 30 min later I get the call that they were not able to save any of the babies. I’m pretty sure they didn’t even do the c-section until shift change because I don’t think it takes 4 hours to do a c-section. On top of which, they told me they had to spay her because if she is having trouble once having puppies she will always have trouble. So now, I lost all my puppies but one and can now never have anymore with her. Please avoid Flower Mound Veterinary Emergency and Speciality Center at any cost. I truly feel like they killed all my babies and put my momma dog through unnecessary pain.

I brought my dog Tzatziki in 01/22/25 and seen Dr. DaPra and Dr. Duck both of these doctors were so amazing and super sweet! Of course he had to be hospitalized 🙁 We stayed for two days, on the second day we were here we seen Dr. Gruben and Dr. Hattaway, both of them were just amazing as well! All of the ICU techs Holly, Brandy, Allyson, Alannah, Mikayla, Felicity, Kelsey, loved my sweet boy when I was not there and gave me such amazing updated about him.
Of course my boy got better, the doctors were very informative when it came to discharging him as well.
100000/10 recommend this facility.

What a wonderful place to take my fur babies. Always friendly and accommodating. Very loving and thorough. I have 7 fur babies and any situation or illness’s that have come up are promptly taken care of. I am a very happy pet parent because of Flower Mound Emergency and Specialty Clinic.

Clarissa was by far the most knowledgeable Client Service Rep I've talked to, and after calling about 10 different vets to make an appointment while learning on the fly, it was clear she is on another level and her welcoming and caring demeanor in the office made the experience that much better! During the visit Susie was also incredibly knowledgeable, patient and warm while we waited to meet Dr Bayer. During the consultation, Dr Bayer explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and he took the time to answer every question with real care and understanding. Highly recommend!
