We have been bringing out dog here for over 2 years now. They are alwats extremely nice and gentle with her. She is very shy and nervous, but they do everything they can to make her comfortable. They never pressure into care or treatment options, just give you all the information you need to make the best decision for you and your pet. Very professional service.

We recently had a scare with an allergic reaction to a vaccine she had before, but they were so nice and made me feel like she was being taken care of. They gave us numerous updates in the short time we had to wait for her and it definitely eased my nerves. We will continue to use this vet and would definitely recommend to others!

We’ve been using Gateway Animal Hospital for our pets healthcare needs since 1997! Always professional, respectful, and caring. Never felt pressured into making care decisions and treatment options were always explained in detail. Dr Burgard has been our vet for a number of yrs and brings a wealth of experience with him. We always feel comfortable with his diagnosis and advice. And Michelle is the real deal folks! She goes above and beyond to insure your pet receives the best possible care. Always available to answer questions and explain procedures and after care instructions. She is an extremely valuable asset to any vet she’s assisting. Great doctors, great nurses, great staff! (Everyone at the desk is so nice, my dog doesn’t even mind getting a nail trim!) What more could you ask for!

My dude had his ACL repaired here over two years ago at a price that was significantly cheaper than my “normal vet” after shopping around to see what options were available for repair/surgical. Since then, I have moved all of his health and upkeep here, and have never felt like he wasn’t in the best care possible. I can’t say enough good things, the surgery went smooth, all follow-ups were amazing and he hasn’t had a single issue with the leg since. These people are top tier and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them going further.

Our little baby girl cat just got fixed by Dr. McLemore and his team! We can’t thank you enough. She is already on the mend! Back to her old self just three days later and her stitches are so clean! They automatically prescribed her antibiotics because cats tend to get infections given the use of the litter box after such surgeries, so we didn’t even have to worry about it! Very responsible, very demure ✨

Best vet we have taken our cat to. We have had a lot of medical issues with Luna, but Dr. Lutz and Dr. McLemore have been amazing. The staff can always get us in quickly, and reaches out to check on Lunas progress weekly. If you are looking for a place that feels like family, I highly recommend!

We have been using Gateway Animal Hospital for over 21 years for all of our cats care. Michelle, the head vet tech, has been with us all 21 years taking care of us and our furbabies through the heartbreak of losing 1 due to old age and the joy of welcoming one of our youngest. Gateway and Michelle currently not only help us care for 16 year old cat, but our youngest now 3 years old. I would recommend this Animal Hospital (and Michelle) to anyone with fur babies!

My animals have never been so comfortable and happy to visit the vet. Dr. Darian was incredibly gentle, kind, and patient. I could tell that he truly cared. It was the first time we didn’t need to use the cat cage!! The appointment itself was also very affordable. We will definitely be back to get our kitten fixed soon 🤍
