After 13 wonderful years we had to euthanize our dog, Moose. He was a big boy, at 120 lbs, and had limited use of his back legs.

Dr Solomon, and an assistant (I am so sorry, idr their name) came to our home and provided excellent service and compassion in helping our boy cross over.

They returned his ashes in a lovely cedar box, with an engraved name plate.

I cannot thank them enough for providing the services they have, at a time we needed them. Thank you!

Dr Solomon was excellent, I will call her with any of my sick pets. She did a quick house call for my pet sheep that was attacked by a bobcat. My sheep is recovering very well. Georgia the sheep showed immediate improvement after cleaning wounds, antibiotic shot, pain shots, and she even sherred her for me. I'm very pleased! Dr Solomon did a house call since I couldn't bring my sheep in.

Absolutely love the care my babies get here! I truly feel like family and know my pets are well loved and cared for. The girls at the front desk know us by name when we call and when we come in they shower my dogs with love and attention. The doctors are great and knowledgeable. This really is a small town family vet available in a “big” town.

Friendly and accommodating staff. They worked me in to get my dog vaccinated even though we weren’t boarding with them. We definitely will board here next time and we’ll also be using Grote Veterinary Clinic as our vet now!

It's been a couple of years now, but I was just asked for recommendations for a vet, and any vet that should be avoided in the Weatherford area. Unfortunately, I'd have to put Grote Veterinary Clinic in the latter category.

We took our aged dachshund in to have her put down. They literally fumbled around IN FRONT OF US for almost an hour trying to find a vein in order to inject into.

It seems like everybody except the receptionist tried and failed, all the time our sweet little girl was looking at us with such sad eyes and obviously in horrible pain.

Ultimately, they suggested that we go sit in the car and wait for them to bring her out. We waited another 30 or 45 minutes and finally they brought her body to us. I have no idea what they subjected her to during that additional time.

The whole ordeal was the most horrible excuse for professional veterinary services I have ever experienced. They still charged us the full fee, but did "give" us a small box that contained a hardened paw print (which we really didn't want after that experience).

I love to be able to give glowing reviews, but also, I feel it necessary to warn others when such a horrible experience needs to be shared.

I been to several vets. This one tops them all. When RoxyVet was sick they took good care of her. Even calling to check on her. They found out what was wrong with Roxy and did there very best to make her well again. She still with us and we enjoy her every day. If your looking for a good vet I recommend Grote veterinary clinic.
