We love Dr. Kiani! I've been taking my kitty, Frida, to her for quite some time now. Even though she's a young cat, she has some unique issues due to her Cerebellar Hypoplasia and Dr. Kiani has managed her care with an abundance of practicality and critical thought. She is extremely pragmatic and doesn't rush to conclusions like I've experienced with prior pets of mine elsewhere. Her and her team are kind, creative and caring (and they won't BS you!!) which unfortunately isn't always the case. Recently we've been at the vet almost weekly to treat some small issues for Frida and I've found all her visits to be affordable as well–especially by NYC standards!

Normally I prefer to keep my cat home while I travel, but due to Frida's recent back injury we decided to board her at Harlem Animal Hospital. I felt so happy and comfortable leaving her with the HAH team–every day we called and got an update which the front desk staff was happy to do.

Dr. Kiani and her staff have treated my cat like she's their own. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a vet who LOVES animals and is always trying to look for the best solution, look into new treatments and try creative routes to make sure your pet is at their safest and healthiest. Great place to take your four legs family member. my young 21 year old buddy has always not feel comfortable going to animals clinic but here he feels at home. the receptionist is very helpful and knowledgeable.

We have been taking our multiple pets to Dr. Kiani and Harlem Animal Hospital since they first opened their doors to the Harlem community. Dr. Kiani has consistently gone above and beyond standard veterinary care, from the most mundane to the most complex health situations our cats and dogs have experienced. She is always honest and direct about costs, discusses the pros and cons of recommended or optional tests and treatments, and does it all with humor and care. Dr. Colon has also always provided us with great care and skill. The support staff at HAH are also exceptional, and we can’t walk in the vicinity without our pups dragging us in to say hello and get some treats. We cannot sing higher praises of Dr. Kiani and her phenomenal staff, and are so thankful to have had their care, love, and support of our pets for over a decade now.

I'd been taking my late babies here for years. Dr Kiani and Dr Colon have been some of the most attentive and compassionate vets I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I especially had the pleasure of having Dr Colon on their care and she has always been incredible. She's clear, she's communicative, she's compassionate, and thorough. She tried everything she could and gave my babies the happiest and healthy life she could with excellent veterinary care. She leveled with me frankly and was so respectful of my and their needs.

My babies have since passed, and it was a gentle and merciful experience. Dr Colon was one major part of their health, happiness, and my inner peace. I can't recommend them higher and I'm extremely satisfied with their care.

I have taken my 2 dogs to Harlem Animal Hospital for the past 7 years. Dr. Kiani has always taken such good care of my girls and carefully explains what is going on and the treatment options. In the last couple of years she monitored my older dog’s renal insufficiency and eventual failure. Despite all the years of care, it was her support and guidance in Olives last month that not only helped Olive, but me also get through such a difficult time. Even after she passed, Dr. K followed up with me to see how I was doing. The staff at the hospital is also wonderful and they take the time you need to get to know the personality of your pet. As awful as it was to lose my first dog, I am grateful for all the support and kindness I received at Harlem Animal Hospital.

Dr Kiani has built a remarkable practice that feels like a home to the pets and owners alike. The team’s first priority is the pet (welcoming the pet before the human). We go to Dr Colon and I have sent several friends to the practice. We are universally pleased and grateful for the care that our fur babies receive.

Amanda a hug after they met our pup Teo and administered a vaccine shot. Not just because it was administered masterfully with my pup not even noticing that it happened or because they were so gentle with him and so intuitive with his needs (he’s a bit slow to trust) but because we had just had a terrible experience at a different vet in the area and we realized how bad the other vet really was. The contrast between the quality of care and professionalism was astonishing and I just cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Kiani and Amanda’s care. Thank you for doing such a great job!
