Great Animal emergency hospital by far! Our dog Zeus was taken in one night due to feeling sick and unfortunately he came back positive with parvovirus. The hospital staff was amazing on the phone and in person especially with us being emotional. Gratefully we were able to catch the virus early and our dog Zeus made a full recovery. No words can describe how grateful I am with the staff and how they took care of us. Highly recommend taking your animals for any type of emergency.

This practice and Dr Dielmann and staff are a blessing and the best veterinary experience we’ve ever had. They have phenomenal service, and are extremely caring, sensitive, patient and understanding with both us and my Cooper. They listened to us and watch the videos we brought in of our fur baby having trouble breathing. The wait time was minimal as their triage worked exactly the way it’s supposed to. We left with X-rays, a detailed medical record and a path forward to helping Coopie feel better and be healthy. We are so impressed and grateful to them. Highly Recommended.

So thankful for this hospital even though it is a good 45 minutes from our home north of Kerrville. Our miniature Australian Shepherd, Chloe, began throwing up almost constantly for two hours on Christmas Eve. We decided to take her to Hill Country Animal Emergency Hospital in Boerne, as Kerrville does not have any call after hours vets. We were checked in quickly, and even though they had some serious emergencies ahead of us we didn’t mind the weight as they kept us updated on her condition and what was going on with her. Dr. Mosley Was very good at explaining all the possibilities Of possibly eating something that disagreed with her or at worst case scenario an intestinal blockage. He explained all the diagnostics and possible treats so that together we made a decision On her treatment. The rest of the staff was friendly and reacted really well with Chloe. It seems the facility has run very efficiently and with knowledgeable staff. They ended up giving her under the skin fluids and a shot for nausea and told us not to feed her the rest of the night which we didn’t although she did drink water and this morning she is doing very well. Although it is unfortunate that many of the smaller towns nearby don’t have after hours vets anymore. We are thankful that this clinic is open 24 seven to help with our needs and especially grateful to those who were not with their families on Christmas Eve and when we left, it was actually Christmas Day It is obvious they care about the animals and the parents of their patients. In addition, having gone to other emergency facilities in the past with other dogs we have owned, we considered Because quite reasonable.

From the bottom of our hearts my family thanks all the nurses and the doctor that saved my baby boy. You brought back the joy in our family🩷. The care and compassion everyone had including the doctor were outstanding! Peligros had to have emergency surgery and they did everything to help along the process it was definitely not cheap but it was all worth it in the end for top tier care and treatment🩷. My baby boy is fully recovered after his stomach twisted and is now living a normal happy life. Our family could not thank you guys enough for the amazing work you did and for saving my best friend and other half🫶🏽

We took our 14 week old Shih Tzu in due to blood in her stool and vomiting. I thought it was a blockage because she had ate some cardboard the old pup had pulled out of the trash. The staff asked me to wait outside due to the symptoms being similar to parvo virus. Luckily they did that because my pup tested positive for parvo. I didn't realize she was also a little lethargic as well. She was given fluids and the Vet explained what options we had for treatment. Amazing that there is a monoclonal antibody available for treatment of parvo and that's what we went with. I was able to bring her home, isolate from the other pup, and now on day 3 she is back to her old self again! Never lost her appetite, drinking plenty of water and has tons of energy! Thank you all for the best care my baby girl could receive!

I took my dog here after we realized that he was going blind. The doctor and staff were so nice! The doctor spent a long time talking to us about our dog, what was happening, and what he thought was going on. He also recommended a great optometrist in the area for a second opinion. He gave us a call a few days later to check up on our dog and make sure he was doing okay.

I'm very happy with this hospital and am glad we have such a high quality facility here in town.

Because of my scheduled hours at work I was forced to take my cat who was in respiratory distress into the Hill country emergency. The staff was not very friendly but did their job accordingly. The wait time was not long I have no complaints there. But upon final consultation with the vet, I do not feel my best interest or the best interest of my animal was taken into consideration at all. My Cat had gone in there for respiratory distress -Was put in an oxygen chamber, which did stop the respiratory attack upon his initial evaluation of her. Her lungs were clear no crackling sounds- He went into detail about how a lot of things can trigger this in cats but without further testing It would be hard to tell what other hidden issues are going on but His initial assessment of her as of right now was she seemed to be OK. I politely request requested if she could have a shot of anabiotic Until I could get her to the vet.. He politely declined My request by telling me, we were not sure of whether or not it was a virus or bacteria so giving her an antibiotic shot would not do any good at this point. I further explained to him that this had happened in the past and that her vet at Herbst has always treated her with an anabiotic which has proven to work quickly.
He convinced me that he wasn’t here to take my money and that he thought she would be OK. Well, my cat wasn’t OK and I went home and found some amoxicillin/clav which I immediately started treating her with and now 3 days later is finally making a full recovery.
So beware that this Emergency Hospital-they will not do minimal treatment for your animal under any circumstance-unless you are ready to spend a lot of money on testing , x-rays, blood, etc.
But what’s even more interesting is he said that we could do all that extensive test testing and still not Wrong with her🙄 If that was the case, why couldn’t he just administer the anabiotic shot I asked for or maybe even a bolus IV for her dehydration?
I was seen by one of the cofounders of this emergency clinic. I will not mention any names.
