I ADORE Holt Vet clinic. I have always had nervous rescue pups and it can be difficult to find vets who understand fear and respect the space and patience required for proper care. Every doc and tech at Holt takes their time to understand my nervous girl, treats her with kindness, works on her time and comfort level, and they do a wonderful job of listening to my concerns and explaining everything to me in a way that makes sense. 10/10 would recommend!

Urgent Concern Regarding Veterinary Care and Deceptive Practices of Holy

Please review all information carefully before choosing this clinic. Since the original owners left, the quality of care has significantly declined.

I waited two weeks for my dog’s X-rays, and despite his diagnosed bladder infection, the veterinarian refused to prescribe antibiotics. I paid $497 for X-rays, yet the images provided only showed his heart, not the trachea as requested. Additionally, false information was placed in his medical file.

Without my authorization, the clinic released my personal contact information to a third party and sent my dog’s records to a specialist before I had even arrived home. I was then pressured into scheduling a full cardiac workup.

The pet industry often preys on the emotions of pet parents because our pets cannot advocate for themselves. I urge everyone to conduct due diligence and take action against these predatory practices. I have filed complaints with the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (TDLR) and the Texas Attorney General’s Office for deceptive trade practices regarding this organization.

Unfortunately, I had to take my 11-year-old English Springer Spaniel, Abby, in for an emergency visit. We all know how unsettling it is when one of our furry companions is unwell.

Dr. Harden has been exceptional in caring for Abby. However, during my follow-up visit, the young woman who checked me in and out was extremely rude. Her behavior and lack of compassion only made an already uncomfortable situation worse.

Love this place! I have a large super active dog who adores them. She can be hard to handle but they make it work and are always friendly about it. This happens from the patient, professional desk staff to the talented vets. I highly recommend. And she has had a difficult bacteria to treat and they have been all over it. Really appreciate Holt Vet!
