I can't thank the MedVet staff enough for how well they have treated us and our dogs over the years. We recently lost our older dog to an aggressive form of cancer. They were with us every step of the way. The Internal Medicine team in particular showed us compassion and strength as we went through such a tumultuous time. They even sent us a card shortly after they learned of her passing. That was in late October, early November, of 2024. It was tough getting around to writing this, but these guys have earned a well deserved kudos. Thank you so much for taking care of our beautiful boof.

While my wait time was long, the service, care and compassion was outstanding. Dr. Leslie Jones was so caring and took the time needed to really figure out what was going on with my dog, determined the plan for diagnostics and got to the root of the issue. I really appreciate the time she spent and her ability to resolve the issue quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Jones and MedVet.

Our cat is currently here and he's been in their care for about 2 days now. They have been so phenominal from start to finish. The nurses came by and let myself and my hubby know what the plan was, discussed finances, and made sure we understood everything before starting treatment. I appreciate it on such a deep level how they have handled our phone calls, check ups and monitored our little guy all day and night! As his situation changed they called to let us know every step of the way. Thank you so much, Maya, Abbey, Dr. Ashlock and everyone else who has made Tora comfortable! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 🩷 Thanks for letting us visit him!! I am looking forward to him coming back home!

I am warning people not to use the cardiology department at this hospital. Go some where else rather than this place. My dog was diagnosed with mitral valve heart disease at the beginning of 2023. He was at stage C or D not sure. They would see him and tell me about the heart disease. He was in the hospital several times for heart failure. He saw this cardiologist for over a year before I moved to a new one. My dog was already in advanced state at this point. He was given 6 months to love at the end of 2024. When I asked the new cardiologist if there was anything that can be done to help with the disease. I found out there was three procedures that could've been done. One of them He was to far advanced. Another one was costly but he didn't have the time left for the procedure. The third procedure was done and helped improve his heart failure episodes. Sadly I lost my baby in February of this year at 9 years old. I could have saved him a lot of pain and complications if I had know about these peocedures!!! This doctor was a waste and all her and the facility cared about was money!! I could have my baby with me still if they had actually cared!!! So please take precautions with your pets heart!!! I know to be more cautious now more than ever!!!

I really need to update this review.
We adopted this sweet little baby on November 5th. We were told she had a case of kennel cough. A little over a week later we carried her into MedVet with what our vet called the worse case of pneumonia in a puppy she had ever seen. We did not know what the following days would hold for our baby and ourselves. We got three calls every day to update us on her condition. Dr. Owens and Alexis(vet tech) were wonderful in explaining exactly what was going on. Five days later, we were able to take our little ball of fur home! She was not fully recovered but was on the right track. As I write this update, our little girl has grown twice in size and 1000% in attitude! She is what we lovingly refer to as "Our little maniac". She runs and plays, she chases her toys and brings them back to be chased after again. We let her get away with a little more than we should I guess, but she had a rough start to life and deserves to be spoiled just a bit. We can't thank everyone at MedVet enough for the love and compassion they shared with our little Taffie.

I had to bring my fur baby to MedVet over the weekend and didn't get the news I'd hoped for. Sadly, I ultimately had to decide to let my baby go. Dr. Cristina Woods is who helped me that day and I cannot commend her enough. She was patient, thorough, and kind. She explained every possible outcome and let me decide how to proceed without any pushing or rushing and remained very honest throughout everything. When it was time to let him go, Dr. Woods sat with us, petting my sweet boy and reassuring both of us that everything was okay. She kept him comfortable and showed him the love and respect that he so deserved. As horrible as that day was, I'm so thankful to Dr. Woods for everything and recommended MedVet to anyone needing help for their fur baby.

Me and my husband had to take our dog here for an emergency. As soon as I walked in the wonderful staff came out with a gurney to get Zeus inside. The staff was beyond passionate with us and Zeus and they care SO much. The doctor had to break us bad news about Zeus but she cared and it showed, she didn’t sugar coat anything it was just straight to buisness. They let us have over an hour with Zeus for his final moments and the doctor came in multiple times to check in on us. Once we finally had our time all we had to do was simply press a button and we were there the whole process and she explained everything that was happening to a T. We had Zeus cremated and just picked him up today and it was a different set of staff but they still showed so much compassion. You guys will forever be in our hearts for how much you cared about Zeus and us, we will forever be taking our furbabies here and I 100% recommend this place ❤️❤️
