Wonderful first experience at My Pets Vet Animal Hospital today. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed and greeted by the front staff. I had called in the morning of and was able to secure a last-minute office visit for my female senior dog. I was in desperate need of her allergy medication and was unable to be seen by her usual veterinary doctor due to their limited scheduling. Dr. Pearson was extremely thorough with my pets health history, including her diet. I was impressed by Dr. Pearson's concerns as well as alternatives for treatment options for her skin allergies. I am definitely returning and switching over from her usual veterinary doctor. Office was clean, location was perfect, and highly professional staff. His prices were also affordable, which was a huge plus.

Very nice place, we got all 3 of our kitties on their premium plan for regular care. Vet is patient and takes his time to explain things, which is nice. Prices are very reasonable too, especially for the level of care provided. Deducting one star because we received 3 different prices on the premium plan. When we went in, the plan increased $10 a month because apparently they quoted us for kittens (they never asked to clarify on the phone), and instead of one service charge and the other two being comped, we had to pay for two amd the third was comped. The third price was what we actually got, which was still the higher monthly payment and split the difference on the service charges (paid one and a half). We really liked the vet and the staff, but we really don't like being quoted lower prices only for the price to increase once you're there on the day of your appointment. Having said all that, still giving 4 stars because, plan pricing issues aside, they are a great practice and we are glad to have them so close to home

When your pet is sick, you want someone who will tell you what the best options are for your pet—not someone who preys on your emotions or just wants your money.

This place genuinely looks out for the best interest of your pet. I was hesitant to put my 17 year old cat through surgery but they talked me through the procedure, the risks, and what my options were. They were honest and instilled so much trust so quickly. I immediately knew that they would do what they needed to make sure my cat had the best quality of life possible. And they did

My cat is happy and healthy and cancer free living her best life with all the treats I promised her if she made it through

This review is based solely on the grooming, I'm sure the groomer is a nice lady but that day she seemed annoyed (which was a Friday) that my dog wasn't brushed out and she made it know when we spoke over the phone and when we brought our dog in, I have a personal groomer who could not accommodate my dog that day but she has groomed my dog numerous times in the same way (not fully brushed), the groomer proceeded instead doing her job and possibly finding a solution she just proceeded to complain about how hard it is to brush her and for us to just fully shave my dogs hair off to the shortest cut, I took my dog in and the same way she went in is the same way she came out and I was still charged for a full groom? Mind you for 4+ hours of just conditioning and brushing my dog I was charged $182? Which is ridiculous And to top it off she cut my dogs ear which I don't see how Since she never proceeded to cut my dog, I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt since they are new and have a decent facility but never again, also the staff there seemed annoyed and lazy like they didn't care, again this review is for the grooming only I'm sure the vet is nice and professional. Respectfully I don't want to reach out and speak about anything take this honest criticism, improve on it and move on.

Thanks

Fist visit today and I was really happy! Dr. Pearson is so sweet and dedicated the time for my dog and answered all my questions. He suggested treatment and did not pushed into any decision plus understand how expensive certain decisions can be! First visit was complimentary and only had to paid for meds and I was amazed on not being ripped in price. Definitely going back and recommend 100%

I can’t express how LUCKY we feel to have found Dr. Pearson and the wonderful staff here!!

I called with an urgent situation on a day when many other clinics (including our regular vet located 25 mins away in the hill country) were closed due to the arctic blast taking place. Our 7 yr old dog Roxy, had been previously rushed to the ER during the wee hours of the morning on Friday Jan. 12th. I was told she had pancreatitis and she was treated with fluids for dehydration. We were given a few cans of easily digestible prescription dog food and told to bring her back if her condition worsened before we could get her to our regular vet for follow up care. She did slightly improve over Sat & Sun afternoon. She resumed eating & drinking…though she remained a bit lethargic and weak. However, on Monday morning, Roxy suddenly began declining. By then, the ice storm was in full swing and I was terrified that we’d lose her before we could find an open clinic. After the first two clinics I called didn’t answer, my fear went through the roof. When the sweet receptionist answered at My Pets Vet, I was so relieved to hear a voice, and I instantly fell apart in tears. She listened attentively and gave me their next available appointment. Her compassionate response soothed my anxious nerves, and I was cautiously hopeful that my baby was going to get the help she needed. Oh my, let me tell you…I was blown away by our experience at this clinic! Dr. Pearson pin-pointed the issue right away. He suspected that our fur baby was diabetic, rather than suffering from pancreatitis. And he was right. A small dose of insulin saved our girl and she’s almost back to herself now. We will be working with Dr. Pearson for the next couple of weeks to determine the best number of shots and optimum dosage for Roxy. While I’m saddened to learn she has this condition, I’m so thankful for Dr. Pearson’s excellent skill and experience which led to a proper diagnosis and treatment. He is warm, positive, and genuinely cares. In fact, he even called to check on Roxy the day after her initial appointment. He’s honestly the kind of doctor we all WISH for! Also, I was shocked at the low cost of the bill. It definitely helped in our situation since the trip to the ER was an expensive hit. It’s one more reason our family is so impressed with My Pet’s Vet. With Dr. Pearson’s help, we caught this early. With consistent monitoring and treatment, Roxy can continue to live a long & happy doggy life. We are gladly bringing all of our fur kids to see Dr. Pearson from now on. Thank you!

I have had some really bad experiences with Vets in the past, so I’m alway a bit hesitant to go to these places. However they are necessary if you have a pet.
The staff was friendly and helpful the Dr. was very knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely cared about our dogs. Didn’t try to sell us something we didn’t need. He even answered our questions about our other pets.
I will be going back. I believe we finally found a good care provider for our dogs.

My dog is older and was having some dental issues. He's relatively healthy, so he doesn't have a regular vet (I just use mobile clinics for vaccinations). I knew he would need some extractions and knew it wouldn't be cheap, so I started calling around to several vets near me. I found My Pets Vet on Google, and they were close, so I called and got a ballpark quote, which sounded reasonable. I made an examination appointment and met with the staff who were all very nice and helpful. I made the surgery appointment and Charlie is doing great and feels so much better! I had no idea he was in so much pain, but now he's like a new dog, full of energy. I highly recommend them!
