I've been bringing my dog, Layla, to the Boerum Hill location for six years. Recently, Layla and I have been seeing Dr. Kim and I am so grateful for her knowledge, empathy, compassion, and all the help she has provided. As you can see from the photo, my dog (who is 16 now!) loves going to the vet. Thank you for everything you do! Highly recommend!

Dr. Kim took amazing care of my dog, Benji, when he had an urgent need on a Friday night when my usual vet was closed. She was calm, compassionate, and thorough, explaining everything clearly and putting both of us at ease. She even checked in over the weekend to make sure he was doing well after being sedated and prescribed ongoing treatment. I’m so grateful for her kindness and expertise! Would highly recommend.

I am happy that I found One Love Animal Hospital in Bay Ridge! I was going to an animal hospital closer to my home before and was not happy.
Dr Donofrio and her staff were amazing! Very knowledgeable and compassionate with our Pet (Storm) and us! She was so good at explaining what was going on with our pet. It was easy to leave appointments and accommodate us. I strongly recommend this doctor and this hospital! Thank you!

Amazing Customer Service!

Our child’s school has pet chickens, one of which developed an emergency health situation.

While they do not see exotic pets the woman who answered the phone went out of her way to find us an emergency hospital that does and even called on our behalf without us asking.

This type of behavior is unusual but refreshing!

The chicken is gonna make it!

My puppy Benji had a great experience with Dr. Suji Kim and the rest of the staff! They masterfully examined him at the same time as playing with him and giving him love. Dr. Kim was knowledgable and through, giving suggestions from training to health. It was a wholesome experience and this will definitely be my home vet.

Dr poler detected a benign heart murmur in my huckleberry kitty and I am grateful for her excellent care. He was able to get an echocardiogram the same day as his annual physical.

One Love has been really great with both of my kitties! Their appointments are usually with Dr. T, who is amazing, but the other vets who have seen them are great too, as are all of the techs. You can really hear in their voices just how much they love animals! After all of my appointments I’ve left feeling as though all my questions were answered thoroughly, and confident that my kitties were well cared for and will quickly recovery from whatever ailment brought them to the vet.

I can’t agree or disagree with the the reviewers who say One Love is expensive since I haven’t used any other vets in NYC, but they do always come out with a tentative treatment plan + itemized prices and you’re free to decline anything that you feel is unnecessarily expensive. I disagree with the reviewers who have negative things to say about the receptionists. They’ve always been perfectly pleasant with me!
