Pacific CARE Pet Emergency was incredible in a time of crisis. One of my dogs had eaten as sock which was stuck in his small intestine and he had to have emergency after-hours surgery. I was referred to Pacific CARE by a different hospital and was told that the surgeon, nurse, and anesthesiologist were all made aware of the situation before I took him to the Pacific Care facility, and all came in for the surgery after-hours late on a saturday night. The surgeon and staff kept me aware of what was going on before, during, and after surgery, and called throughout his stay to give consistent progress updates and pictures.

The care that my dog received was top shelf and I don't think I would still have my dog with me if not for the amazing, compassionate, knowledgable team that worked on him.

I really want to say this Emergency Room helped me out so much and to the best of their ability. I really loved how the doctor explained everything in detail that was going on with my cat. I loved how kind and patient even the nurses and assistants were with me. I am a college student who was struggling to pay for the cost, but I loved how both the doctor and nurses were helping me bring the price down by providing alternatives that will still help my cat. The next day I was concerned about my cat still bleeding a little bit and I called the hospital. I really appreciated the help the doctors and nurses provided over the phone by reassuring me he was okay. I also liked how they told me to not hesitate to call back if it gets worse. I truly saw my cat get better in 2 days. His mood changed so much. It was 8pm when I took my cat and came out at 2 am, but I liked how the nurses and doctor reassured me he was going to be okay and go home to get some rest. Overall, my experience was very good.

I can not thank the pacific care team enough for saving my baby's life. They did absolutely everything they could to give her the best care as well as be sensitive to myself during the scary time. Sapah is now recovering from her surgery but is starting to act like her happy, goofy self again.

I took my dog Larson there as she had trouble going to restroom. From the first person I met until I was able to check her out and get her back home, I thought I was getting the best diagnosis, advice and treatment plans as well as timely updates. They accommodated me visiting her throughout her stay. I cannot recommend higher. I am very thankful to the whole staff for having Larson back home.

I came here yesterday for my first time to get an ultrasound on my cat, her primary care vet recommended us to come here. Everyone was so wonderful and took care of my baby. They answered all the questions I had kindly, I’ve been to places where the workers are very abrupt. But the people who work here are so lovely, kind, caring, and really just want to make you and your fur babies at ease. The doctors are very thorough and you can tell they actually care about animals. I highly recommend this place!! Thank you Pacific Care!!!

After reaching out to my regular vet, and told everything was fine, my cat had a Grand Mal seizure and was rushed here. They took it very seriously and handled the situation with ease. They were willing to work within my budget (though obviously emergency vets are still pricey) but this was a much better and cheaper place anyways.

P.S. Get insurance for ur pet while they’re still young and healthy, you will regret it if u don’t

Taking advantage of you when you are most vulnerable.
I’m giving this clinic one star after a deeply disappointing visit. The doctor who saw us seemed like she might have been hungover or had worked all night—she repeated questions, lost her train of thought, and acted moody throughout the appointment. It felt unprofessional, and I didn’t trust that my dog was in good hands. Despite these concerns, we were referred to a specialist and had to pay in advance for the next day. When we arrived, the specialist barely spent five minutes reviewing notes without even examining my dog, then charged $220 for this so-called consultation. For such high prices, I expected thorough care and attention to detail. I left feeling entirely dissatisfied and won’t be returning.
