The folks at pet emergency clinic were all so wonderful to deal with. From the moment we walked in, panicked, with our puppy who was feeling unwell to the moment he was discharged we were treated with respect and professionalism. They attended to our little guy quickly and thoroughly, and had him feeling better in no time. We even had a little bit of confusion concerning our bill which was cleared up without hesitation. From the triage team and the doctor who treated our puppy all the way up the ladder to the manager, miss Melanie, pet emergency clinic earned every one of these 5 stars!

Would not recommend this place if you want to be taken seriously about your animals health.
I would like to update this review with the right information since the owner of this place likes to lie.
We took our dog in because he was showing signs of bloat in the early morning. In the beginning everything was fine the doctor and staff were nice enough. Upon finding out that there was THC in the house the doctor immediately suspected that he ingested some. After talking with them and explaining that there is absolutely no way he could have ingested any, the doctor proceeded to say repeatedly that is what happened. At one point they came out and told us that our dog had passed his bowels in the back, a couple hours later he started showing signs of improvement. Leading us to believe that when he pooped it allowed him to pass any blockage or gas that was causing the issue. After he was doing better they decided to discharge him, in the discharge paperwork they put the reason of our visit and then the cause of it was THC toxicity. Without asking the staff took it upon themselves to clip our dogs nails, cutting them too short, his groomer did them the week prior, which Id have let them know if we were asked. Over 5 hours and $1400 to be lied to and looked down upon.
Overall I would say it was a horrible experience. From everything that we went through, saw and heard I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Update: The owner says that our Dog was presented to them with symptoms of dribbling urine and antaxia. That is false. Our dog was brought in after I had called and explained that his stomach was distended and hard as a rock, the receptionist agreed with us it sounded like bloat.
The owner says our dog was administered a drug panel and a full work up, which is true. What they don't say is that the drug panel was given in the beginning and the work up for GVD/Bloat wasn't done until hours later, after our dog had passed his bowels and was improving. Yes the drug panel popped positive for THC, because we smoke! Lol. THC stores in fat cells and can stay in your system for a long time. You do not have to eat it for it to be in your system. Simply breathing it in it's your system, same goes for animals. For a vets office you guys should know this, but we were told that was impossible.
As for the sedation he wasn't aggressive, we were in the waiting room and heard him give a bark and growl a little. That's not aggression, that's you guys being scared of a big dog who is telling you he hurts and would rather not be moved in that manner.
As for the nails you guys did clip them too short, dog nails don't have to be bleeding to be considered too short. His nails were perfectly fine and I've never had a vets office clip nails as a courtesy, they always ask if you want them to do it.
I would also like to add that whoever shaved his fur down for the IV needs to find a new job. They gave our dog razor burns and have turned his skin black and blue, causing him a lot of discomfort. You also knicked his other leg. This goes to show that that person not only didn't use a guard for the blade but also that they don't know how to shave hair, as they went with the fur instead of against it.

A few days ago, my soul kitty developed a Saddle Thrombus and was paralyzed from his midsection down. He was in agonizing pain and it was absolutely petrifying. I was in shock and frantically had to find a place that would take him. I called this clinic and they told me to come in right away and advised that they had plenty of financing options since I was concerned about funding but knew I needed to bring him in. A nurse came out immediately and was so gentle and empathetic toward the situation. She called someone to help immediately and a tech came out right away to triage him. She was so gentle and calming, I felt I could really trust them and could tell they deeply cared. They could see how visibly upset I was and the vet brought me to an exam room to update me on the prognosis. Unfortunately, my boy was in a lot of pain and had lost all circulation to his legs. He had fluid in his lungs and around his heart and I had to make the awful decision to euthanize, however, it was the most humane one in that situation. They let me process everything and provided me with tissues and let me take all the time I needed alone. I was able to spend my boy’s last moments with him and as traumatic as that loss was, I felt that the compassion and incredible work the vet techs and nurses provided was unforgettable. I received paw prints and a beautiful little face print from them as well without even asking (I was too shook up to even consider that) and I am eternally grateful for this staff. Thank you so much for all you guys do and for being angels on earth for our animals. ❤️

This past Sunday we experienced a terribly traumatic event with our 13 weeks old Puppy. PEC was amazing. Dr. Brown was very caring, compassionate, and understanding. Danielle was incredible too! They sent photos and updates via text as I worried at home and called a few times for an update. I can’t thank them enough for running every test possible to save our baby and get us answers. For showing my husband and I patience and kindness during such a hard time. For working with my own Vets that saw my puppy for primary care. For loving my Frankie boy and keeping him as comfortable possible.

I cannot say enough kind things about the people here! When my puppy got toxic poisoning and within 5 minutes was unresponsive and limp, we rushed here. We were immediately seen and within a minute of walking in, they had her in the back and started working. Had we waited just a few more minutes she probably would’ve died. Dr. Brown kept us informed every step of the way and truly worked to get to the bottom of what happened. They kept her overnight and worked around the clock to keep her little 11 pound body functioning and we couldn’t be more grateful. We brought an almost lifeless puppy in at 10:30 pm and got to bring back home an energetic ball at 8 the next morning! Thank you to Dr. Brown and the team at Pet Emergency- you all are lifesavers!

What started as a terrifying medical emergency turned into a nightmare of unnecessary tests, miscommunication, and a massive waste of money. Our dog was rushed to their clinic because she couldn’t urinate, and after spending the night there, we were given medication and told to follow up with a specialist.

We followed their instructions to the letter, only to find out later that the tests and samples they provided were no longer useful by the time we reached the specialist. Worse yet, the medication they gave her interfered with further testing, causing even more delays in treatment. Despite spending over $4000 on visits, tests, and follow-ups, we left with no real answers and still no clear path forward for our dog's care.

When we returned to have a catheter replaced, as instructed by our primary vet, they refused to even see us. After everything we'd been through, being turned away like that was incredibly frustrating and felt like a betrayal.

If you care about your pet and your finances, I strongly urge you to stay away from Pet Emergency. They are more interested in racking up charges than providing meaningful care. Save yourself the heartache and take your pet elsewhere where their well-being will actually be a priority.

Dr. Fick is a horrible vet. Bed-side manner is not good. Aside from our experience another pet parent was complaining right next to us to the receptionist about the same type of horrible experience. The front staff and vet assistants are great. But one bad apple determines how I feel about this place. If you can avoid taking your vet to here - do it! It will be better for you and your pet! Dr. Fick needs to learn how to care about the pet parents and the animals. I have no confidence in her skills.

This place failed to tell us our cat had two fractured discs in her neck. The DR sat there and told us to our faces that the Xray showed NO breaks (or skin punctures) or anything that could tell us why she couldn’t use one of her front legs. When we picked her up the receptionist casually mentioned the fractures while emotionlessly rattling off the discharge instructions. We emailed them pushing back on the massive bill they charged us and demanded answers. They denied any fault and went so far as to fabricate call logs and notes (the notes from the supposed call was time stamped an hr before they made the make believe call) to cover their butts. I sent them my call history from my carriers (not just screen shots from my phone) to show the many calls I made to them to get updates and the single call they made to me.
She stayed over night and they were supposed to call me in the AM with an update. When they did FINALLY call me the DR really focused on her kidney function which was a pre existing condition and glossed over her injuries (a dog attack) which is why she was even there. When I asked why that was so important that they do their lab work right then and there and she couldn’t wait to see her primary DR after we were sure she was even going to survive they could not tell me and kept pushing us to let them do another $3600+ worth of services. I refused and opted to pick her up. While we were in the waiting area to get her we overheard a distraught older gentleman on the phone desperately trying to figure out how to pay their initial deposit so they would even start work on his dog.
The next day I took her to her DR. She took one look at her and said that her kidneys were the least of her concern and that my cat would likely not make it. When I asked about the vet hospital she carefully eluded that this was not the only time someone’s said something to her about them.
They knew she was dying, and lied about it to get more money from me. When questioned they fabricated documents and offered no accountability, but when threatened with legal action they waived our outstanding bill. They didn’t even have enough compassion to ask about how she was doing. She had passed away.
All this place cares about is money.
RESPONSE: Just because it’s been a year doesn’t mean I still don’t think about it and it doesn’t still piss me off or make it any less appalling and disgraceful. The office manager, Samantha, was less than helpful before, I doubt now would be any different. At this point I don’t need or want anything more than to spread awareness.
