I cannot say enough good things about PASE. The last few months, PASE has been my second home. The vet care, the compassion, the thoroughness, and the dedication the staff give to both your pet and your family is unmatched.
My male Rottweiler had been seen by internal medicine, emergency, and oncology. All areas have been nothing short of amazing.
The oncology team is truly remarkable. They gave my boy, who had an extremely aggressive cancer, months more to spend with our family. His case was very complex and he had a handful of other medical issues prior to his cancer diagnosis, but the oncology team handled his case with stride. From the time he started chemo, to about a week or two before his passing, he felt little to no pain. His masses had shrunk, and he got to play and explore like a puppy again.
I can never thank PASE oncology enough for the valuable, pain-free time they gave to my baby boy.

Thank you PASE for being the best there is in emergency & specialty vet care! I highly recommend PASE for all of your specialty/emergency vet care needs.

Took my 9 year old chihuahua-pug here for what I suspected to be IVDD. Dr. Swanson of neurology was incredible. We did an MRI, she called me to confirm Nellie had a slipped disc, and we moved right into surgery. Nellie was home less than 24 hours later and is doing great. PASE has been amazing post-op—fielding all questions, calls, and taking videos of Nellie walking to ensure she's recovering well. Dr. Swanson was a Godsend. So calm, thorough, and loving. The vet techs and front desk staff were incredible and patient. I cannot recommend PASE enough based on my experience. It was a scary time and they made it safe and easy for me.

Our female Bouvier was hit by a car Saturday morning. We started at Blue Pearl in Delaware, but based on her injuries, they recommended we transfer her to PASE because they did not have a neurologist on staff. We took Bryn to PASE on Saturday evening and she was seen by the neurologist Sunday morning, and the care we received was outstanding. She had surgery on Monday to repair her broken forearm. All of the staff at pace were incredibly compassionate, helpful, and caring. The surgeon was excellent and communicated frequently with us about how the surgery went and how Bryn was recovering. The neurologist also kept in touch with us frequently with additional updates. My husband and I highly recommend PASE as an ER vet and are exceedingly grateful for everything they’ve done for us and for Bryn. A few days, after having been released, Bryn started throwing up and the staff at PASE again, were exceedingly helpful with answering our questions regarding continuing medications and frequency.

The Pizoli family has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. At the top of our list is PASE. From the day we brought home our Norma she has been a medical mystery. This past July her health took a wild turn. We were referred to PASE thinking we needed neurology. After extensive testing & diagnostics we landed ourselves with in the care of the internal medicine team. Norma's case was/is far from easy but the amount of time & research Dr. Cleroux & the team invested into providing the proper care for our pup was unmatched. Due to Norma being such a mystery it took a lot of trial & error, patience & persistence. From day 1 Dr. Matula was honest & full of love when she sat us down & told us this was going to be a very long journey. The fact that PASE is filled incredible staff that legitimately cares about the animals, celebrates with you when your pup has their first normal poop & not just interested in your money is beyond refreshing. Norma has officially been "back to normal" for a solid month now & NONE of this would have been possible without the entire team at PASE. There is still work to be done for little Norma but we are so so grateful to have even made it this far when looking back at the beginning of August we didn't even think Norma would live to see thanksgiving. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!!

Thank you to everyone who helped get my Smokey home safe. If you’re ever in a pet emergency I wouldn’t bring my animals anywhere else. The entire care team from the customer service team to the doctors were super nice and helpful. They really kept my wife and I in the loop with that was happening and what needed to happen. When it was time to bring him home we were out the door in 10 minutes with super clear discharge information. Even with an employee discount at PennVet, PASE was still more affordable. If I could give a bonus star I would because they even gave me the obstruction without asking.

Thank you so much to Dr. Zager, the entire Internal Medicine Team, and the nurses and techs that cared for Gizmo “Moe” this week. He’s a very special boy to us, and you were there when we really needed you. The constant updates, precise descriptions of procedures, and love you gave him made us feel so much better. It’s never easy when they have to be in the hospital but we knew he was safe with your team. Thank you from the Nash Family!

Thank you Dr Astor, our sugeon, Dr Samuel, our consulting doctor, and the whole wonderful team at PASE who took care of our baby boy! Recommended by VEG NoLibs, we learned that PASE is one of the rare Philly-owned hospitals in the city. The reviews were true to form- everyone loves Dr Astor, including his staff!

My one tiny nitpick (meant only to help new guests) is that although their magnet gives directions straight to the parking (entrance in 23rd through a residential alley which really throws people off) you’ve gotta get a voucher from them first. Still, amazing they even HAVE parking in the city!

Hoping to only come back for hello visits, but we’ll never hesitate to use them again if necessary.
