A few years ago, I came home to my cat unresponsive. My vet was closed, and the other vets around were closed, I called pilchuck, they said get him out to them, I rushed her in, they brought her back right away, sadly it was her time. The staff at pilchuck were amazing, kind, and understanding. They didn't try to upcharge me for the emergency visit (during business hours.) They gave me as much time as I needed for the end of life transition. Furthermore, they sent me a card signed by all the staff members sending their wishes. Was a nice touch. So while my interaction with them was limited, I would recommend them, at least from what I went through.

Pilchuck Veterinary is a wonderful clinic with great staff, and caring veterinarians. The pricing, even in an emergency situation are very fair. I have NEVER been disappointed with the care received at Pilchuck. Very much recommended.

We had to rush our sweet 15 year old man to the ER last night and the staff were so quick to respond and grab our sweet boy from us. They always called and communicated to keep us updated from our car. ( Covid procedure) we were there all night into the morning until he was discharged only to find that when he got home he just didn’t want to walk, eat, or take medicine and his health started to decline quick.

We quickly called Pilchuck back and asked to return...we knew we had a hard decision to make and they were so kind and patient with us. Our sweet boy crossed the rainbow bridge at Pilchuck and he was calm and comfortable and at peace. And that’s all we could ever ask for as pet owners. The staff at Pilchuck were amazing, especially since this was a first for us. And huge shout out to their staff member for Brittany for being so sweet, patient and so informative with us and for always keeping us updated while you guys had our boy. If or when we get another pet, Pilchuck will always be the first stop for emergency vet. Thank you!

I had a terrible experience here a number of years ago when I brought in my dying cat in respiratory distress. I was told I waited too long to euthanize and caused him great suffering even though I brought him in as soon as the respiratory distress began. What a thing to tell someone losing their beloved pet. My husband just called all these years later to inquire about bringing in my cat who is currently passing away from cancer. I certainly do not want to wait too long and I asked my husband to call immediately out of sheer desperation because it is a Saturday night, every other place is closed, and I suddenly noticed a change in my cat. This hospital is supposed to be a 24 hour emergency clinic yet we were told due to being short staffed they don’t have an extra vet coming in until 7:00 and most likely no additional patients would be allowed in for the rest of the night…I cannot even believe a place would deny a dying animal a humane ending due to being short staffed. No recommendations if where to go were even offered. Unbelievable.

My worst experience in pilchuck animal hospital just last months,, staffs are rude and nowhere helpful!! our dog was having two back to back full seizures right outside the hospital n had uinary incontinence and couldn’t catch up on his breathing and the staffs turn us away while watching my dog suffer and told us drive two hours to other vet,, they are in nowhere to help or to prove any helpful information...they literally told me my dog is not dying but just suffering bad and did nothing to help out. To add my dog been seen there before and they have all his health records!!!!!

I came in to pilchuck after my dog was attacked by another dog and asked to be seen and explained my dog was bleeding in my car. There response was hold on and I waited 10 mins and left to diamond vet. They don't care about your animal just want money.

Pilchuck Emergency has truthfully saved a couple of my dogs. From my experience and what I've learned from ten years of going there they truly specialize in emergencies. They are really good.
