Dr tzib has saved my dog not once but twice , but three times in a 30 day period. They do not price gouge. I drive from Tri cities to see them because I have chosen that they are the best vet to establish care at. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Love love love them.

Absolutely love Prosser Animal Hospital! Ever since my first visit with my fur baby, they have been amazing handling her much needed care. My sweet girl has a heart problem that they prescribed a medication for at a great price for a whole month’s worth. And just recently got her setup with a regimen of meds and special food for diagnosed diabetes. They have been so great at explaining things in detail so I understand it and are so accomidating to my crazy work schedule. Prosser Animal Hospital will be my forever vet. Hoping to bring my other baby there soon

Called and set an appointment specifically for a tooth extraction. Just a tooth extraction for my dog. Drove down from Seattle for the appointment. Signed a piece of paper saying to call so I knew how much to bring- told them in advance I was going to say yes to whatever the cost was I just needed to know how much money to bring with me on pickup.

They called when I was in a midterm and I physically couldn’t answer. They left a voicemail saying the total charge would be $460 total for the extraction. I called back, apparently too late because they said they woke him up without having done his extraction because they couldn’t reach me to approve the cost.

I went to pick him up. They charged me $460 anyway. The extraction, the thing I bought him in for was not done because they couldn’t get approval from me f o r the cost- but it was ok to charge me that amount anyway for not doing the thing I specifically brought him in for? So he’s 10, now stressed out and still in pain and I now have to find somewhere else to get him in and pay again, and I’m out $460 - the same amount they apparently previously needed special permission for?

I wish there was an option to give negative stars! My grandma took her dog here, and after her dog was spayed, she couldn't breathe properly. We took her to a bunch of different vets, and basically, they all just told us it was genetic. So we decided to risk this happening again on our puppy, and we took her in, and it happened again. This is not genetic it's just poor vet tech work. Her sutures were not pretty or done properly. There were flaps of skin just hanging open, and my poor girl couldn't breathe, and she was lethargic and wouldn't eat for days! I was going to take my other dog here to get spayed because they have hysterectomies for dogs, but now I don't think it's worth it. It's worth the extra $500 to go to Seattle!

So, I decided to give you an update on the dogs.... My grandma's dog is doing okay. She still has trouble breathing, though. Our dog, on the other hand, can't breathe without snorting. She is even worse than my grandma's dog! We took her into a DIFFERENT vet, and they did surgery on her. The vet ended up calling in MULTIPLE OTHER SURGEONS, and NONE of them could fix her breathing. But they did determine the cause of her breathing issues! It was SCAR TISSUE up between her nose and her throat. It was also determined that the scars were created by acid. Your pets pre-op and post-op care team are the vet techs. They are the ones that are SUPPOSED to position the pet AND put an acid reducer/blocker in place so that acid can't burn their soft tissues and prevent them from breathing.

Have you been to this Veterinary hospital? For those of you who follow me, you know I usually post about the great restaurants I visit. However once in awhile you visit a place, like this Vet hospital, and have such a great experience. You want everyone to know places like this really do exist!! I misunderstood about the time of my visit and showed up four hours early 😳 😳 Working with Dr. Mary's fantastic staff, she had me in within twenty minutes. Max received his checkup, his rabies and other shot, and was able to formulate a plan for Max's upcoming treatments. Thank you Dr. Mary!!!! And the tech who helped to make this happen- thank you 😊 Great people, very clean waiting and examining rooms!! Along with all your dog's food needs, leashes, and anything else you need!!! I'm really needed my dog to be seen. And I live all the way in ellensburg, Man I was blessed say least they had an opening the next day early morning, The place is clean. The vet seemed Intelligent and very nice.The people are friendly. My dog seemed to enjoy herself there. We will be back to get your spayed.

Says online they have a person that works Saturdays. Tried calling for a weekend semi-emergent visit for my cat that wasn't an ER Vet that would cost $1000. Called back Monday to tell me they weren't open these next few weekends but failed to post about it anywhere to let anyone know they'd be closed. Said the woman that worked Saturdays was only open for nail trimmings and similar work which is also not listed anywhere that that is all she's open for.
