Este lugar es único!!! Los veterinarios trabajan por amor y claro que cobran sus servicios, pero son empaticos y te preguntan por todo y te hacen la vida súper fácil. Saben todo sobre Hawaii. La Doctora Nicole es la mejor veterinaria que he tenido en 25 años que tengo perritos. Gracias a todo el equipo, a la técnica, que no puedo recordar su nombre, y gracias a todo el equipo!!!! This place is absolutely amazing! My dog has allergies and we have to visit the vet a couple times a year for his skin flare ups and GI upsets related to his allergy flare ups. They are always able to squeeze us in for last minute appointments to get him the care he needs! They have been one of the best vets I have found to come up with solutions and options for treating and managing his allergies. They even have hydrolyzed dog treats so Winston never feels left out from getting treats for being a good boy! The staff are all so friendly and patient with Winston who is very big, hyper, and anxious. We appreciate you guys so much!

I've been coming to Rising Sun for about 10years now and have never had a negative experience with this office. Everyone I've encountered has been caring, knowledgeable and professional. Jean Ellen however is that extra bit that puts it over the top. Her kindness and personal touches are what makes people want to come back.

From the moment I walked in Kara was one of the kindest humans to help me with two small dogs. She quickly got me into a private room to ask general questions for my appointment. Dr Wilson is by far top tier Vet, she is honest and caring! She is not going to have you question any of the recommendations she gives because her knowledge is above and beyond. Within 24 hours my dog’s blood work came back and I was personally called by Dr Wilson! I have never had that experience with other local vets they always had techs call me. Parking is phenomenal as there are ample spaces at 2pm !!

Today I had to go through the worst moment of my life without any doubt. Having to put my best friend to sleep after 16 years and being from another country was not easy at all. From the moment I entered to the place with my dog ​​in hands, all the people who works there showed me lots of love, empathy and respect that I had never felt since I came to live in the United States. I really want to say thanks to every one of you, I can’t remember the names because I was not able even to speak, but know that you guys made that moment special. Thank you again!

Update:

The practice has had a mass exodus of the best vets I’ve had the opportunity to have my dogs seen by. The communication of these changes has been poorly done to the effect that I was called the day before my appointment to inform me that yet another vet had left the practice and I would have to once again reschedule my appointment (I had to previously reschedule because another veterinarian had left the practice).

I’m not sure what happened but I do know that the previous owner of the practice ran a very tight ship and with her gone the other quality vets have also left. It is really too bad - I’m looking to see where these vets go to so I know where to follow.

We have three dogs, all have very different personalities and have had varying traumatizing experiences prior to their adoption. Rising Sun's Front Desk Staff, Vet Techs, and Vets have done amazingly with all three of them (and us too).

They are friendly, knowledgeable and err on the side of conservative treatment always with the pet's best interest in mind.

Previously, our 40 pounder would need several techs to aid him to get a nail trim (our last vet wouldn't trim his nails without him being profoundly drugged). With our time with Rising Sun they have brought care and compassion to him to the point where we can safely trim his nails at home with just a spatula of peanut butter (no holding needed). Bravo!

We had such a great experience with Rising Sun Animal Care! Our pup had to get a tooth pulled, and they were so fantastic and gentle with him the entire time. They even gave us a hand written get well soon card and a blanket for our dog after the procedure. Such a thoughtful staff- they care out our pets like they care their own! ❤️
