I highly recommend this veterinary hospital! I was turned down at 2 vets before because my precious mad cat wouldn’t let anyone get near him and give him his shots!! They said bring him in and we can try and it was a SUCCESS!! Will definitely be coming back. They truly cared for my Felix the cat.

After spending thousands here over 10 years they turned us away when we were in dire need of advice for our cat. We already had paid them for a full blood workup recently and the very very rude and mean receptionist with the dark blue sunglasses told my husband it would take too long to do a blood panel etc and they turned him and my son away. My husband says he could tell that the mean receptionist with the dark sunglasses was enjoying the fact she was turning them away. There is no heart at this vet. Dr Pirrung has also exhibited a smug attitude on a few occasions but I overlooked it and spent thousands here anyway. Never again.

This will be our new vet!!!! I went in on Friday morning to drop off our baby for her spay. The two ladies who greeted us were so sweet! They eased our anxiety about the procedure! The next day, we had the same experience! Fantastic ladies!!! Also, I LOVE the lobby they have. Our babies are nervous about the vet, and the entrance is so easy to navigate! Last, but not least, the prices are HALF of what I was quoted elsewhere. I just love these guys and are so thankful for them!!!

0 Stars is more fitting

My dog was doing great and then out of nowhere not well at all. Favoring one of is hind legs, unable to control when he stops urinating, fever of 103.3. Just like we know when were not feeling well, I knew he wasn't feeling well. We took him in as soon as we could fearing the worst.

When we saw Dr. Piurrung after a brief look his first question is " Has your dog been exposed or consumed cannabis.". Being an adult with I explained i use cannabis for myself and that there would be no way my dog would have been exposed to the effects of cannabis. He was certain it was the reason for my dogs behavior. When i requested that he take blood for testing his response was, " I don't see the reason for that but its your money.". Refused urine sample, and stool sample. So we took blood and sent it for testing. 2 days later the blood work results are in, and Dr. Piurrung call to share my result. He had a major infection of some kind, Kidney, Bladder, etc.. After a few choice word on how this Dr decided to be a judgmental P.O.S. I decided to get a second opinion in Rowlett and the staff and Dr.'s there were kind and compassionate. Did everything to help find out what is going on with my fur child. After all the testing, x-rays, and samples were done and reviewed my Dog ended up having prostate cancer. I do not recommend taking your animals here unless you are wanting to be scolded, judged, and mocked by the staff and Dr. Piurrung especially.

I had a horrible experience, one of the nurses upfront had a horrible attitude. I came in very worried for my furbaby, had the vet come in and nurse pretty much rush me out. I was told “alright guys payment is over here” but was gagging and catching my breath and needed a minute (she saw this) and she proceeded to raise her voice and repeat the same thing. As if I didn’t know I had to pay or didn’t hear hear her the first time. Instead of making you feel better they stress you out more and don’t seem to care for you or your baby’s well being.
