I am SO glad I took my baby to this vet. My cat has been having some sudden and unexpected urinary issues and required surgery. And I can safely say I trust Southpaw completely with him. Every single person I have interacted with when taking him in (many times in the span of a few weeks) has been absolutely wonderful. Dr. Hannon has been especially amazing. She is incredibly knowledgable, thorough, empathetic, and comforting. My kitty’s treatment has been an emotional rollercoaster, but not once did I ever doubt that he was getting the best possible care. The whole office has been so proactive with keeping me updated and making sure I understand everything that’s been going on. Thank you to everyone at Southpaw for looking after my little guy 🖤

I've been taking my dog Dice here since we moved to the area. We mainly have come in for checkups and routine visits but the other day my dog had several seizures and even though they were completely book they took us in right away to make sure Dice was okay and stable. The doctor was very attentive and kind and did a good job of explaining different med options for Dice and the staff explained to me how I can use GoodRx to get more affordable meds. Usually Dice is really nervous at vet clinics but she seems more comfortable and happy at this clinic. You can tell they love the animals. They also call to check up on your pet the next day if they're not feeling well. Thanks South Paw staff!!

Everyone at this clinic is welcoming and you can tell how much they love animals and really care. They take the time to explain what they are doing and why, and to make sure I am fully aware of all charges before they are incurred. Dr. Cruz-Castro called personally to go over my dog's test results and check on her after our most recent visit. Great place!

Southpaw Animal Hospital is a wonderful veterinary place! We have three cats who all have different personalities and body types. The veterinarians are especially thorough and knowledgeable. Horrible experience.
They misdiagnosed my dog. This place is not competent in their work. We paid thousands of dollars for our dog to be checked out and to see if it had GDV because it is common in Great Danes, and for them to tell us no it was not that it was a foreign object inside his body. So they wanted us to do a 6,000 surgery which was overly priced. Took him to another vet to get a second opinion they opened him up and he had no foreign object and he had GDV. He was close to dieing had we of not brought him in the following day to another vet. We call them back the following day to try to get our money back from what they didn’t catch and misdiagnosed our dog only for the vet to tell us we’re all banned without explanation. The office manager is very unprofessional as she was rude to us in front of other clients at the front desk. I would NOT bring your pets here unless you want to be price gauged and have your animal misdiagnosed. Horrible customer service and the veterinarian’s are not competent at all.
