TL;DR, Sploot Belmar is wonderful and I recommend it for anyone looking for care for their cats (I imagine it’s the same for dogs, but I cannot attest to it).

I have brought both of my newly adopted cats to Sploot (on two separate occasions) when they each showed signs of illness/conditions that raised concerns shortly after bringing them home from the shelter. I loved that I was able to get same-day appointments scheduled easily online, one of them being on a Sunday when just about every other vet is closed! The customer service and staff/vets who work at/for Sploot are so friendly, helpful, and informative. From the moment you book your appointment, to check in, to the exam room, each person really makes you feel at ease. (Thanks to Dr. Carrera and Dr. Summers for treatment of each cat!)

The exam room for the kitties aka the “Meow Meow” room is nice and clean and comfortable. The exam itself was also efficient and you’re not left waiting too long. I also felt each visit was reasonably priced. After your visit, they check in to see how your pet is doing and if there are any questions/concerns. It’s nice that I can text them for easy communication and i don’t feel like I’m waiting forever for a response.

All in all, I’m very happy with both experiences I’ve had here! Whether you’re looking for long term vet care or something quick, Sploot is a great option to have!

Fantastic office, excellent staff and care, reasonable prices and so very accommodating; my dog had a potential for 3 things to be wrong and they patiently and kindly listened (everyone from the phone call before to in house) and worked through everything until we knew for sure what the issue was and that there is only one serious issue aside from his allergies, then they saved me money by writing an actual paper script instead of having to buy the meds in house because THEY took the time to go out of their way and research where it was cheapest! However, Most importantly and above all, they were so incredibly gentle and loving with my dog Arcadius, he was treated as if he was one of their dogs from home and the Vet, Sonny (I believe is her name, if wrong I apologize) was very easy to connect with and speak to as well.. My prior vet office closed down and when my guy wasn’t feeling well today this place came up and I am so glad it did! My dog is almost 8 and through his entire life this vet and the one that closed have been hands down the best service and so loving and caring. I would give EVERYONE in this office a hundred stars if I could, receptionist included, if you need a good and caring vet, I recommend this one. They even had granola bars and snacks for the owners as well as treats for the pets, just an overall genuine and caring experience. Finding people that genuinely care can be difficult, I’m blessed that a google search brought me to such a wonderful place. Thank you again!

They’d did an amazing job! Took my dog in for emergency and they were willing to make room and time for her immediately, then made sure they knew everything they can about my dog before doing anything. They made sure the entire time my dog was as comfortable as she could be and made sure she was safe and happy. Overall amazing experience and want to come back again!

The Sploot family is AMAZING!!! They are so kind and patient with Luka! And it's so close to our house! Also open 7 days a week so we can take our fur baby in on the weekend if needed! We went back for our second time for some routine shots and the staff is so sweet. We definitely will be continuing care with them! They also text you to ask how your pup is doing and you can take a free bag of treats on your way out!

This vet is an upscale feel with caring staff members. The rooms are open & airy, and quiet. My pets were SO much more at peace here than prior vets due to the large exam room windows, sweet staff, and lack of loud noises. I took both my cat and dog here for their annual wellness exams. The kind woman at the front desk ran to open the front door for me upon arrival, and escorted me and my pets back to the car after our appointment since my hands were full, which was very appreciated.

Street parking only, must have the Passport Parking app or scan a QR code to pay on a web browser, so just something to note as this may take a few minutes to complete once parked.

My dog and cat were both new patients here — I had booked online two separate appointments for each pet, with a free exam promo code for each booking. After booking, I asked if I could bring my cat inside so she wouldn’t be alone in the car during my dog’s appointment (as my dog’s appointment was first), & they agreed and said they could simply be seen together, which sounded great.

However, once they’d already both been examined by the techs & doctor, and the doc was breaking down the charges before administering treatments (love that she did this in advance by the way) I specifically asked about the free exam promo codes I’d applied to each appointment. She said because the appointments had been combined, they could only waive one exam fee (there were still two exams/exam fees even though the appt was “combined”) — something I would’ve ideally known prior. I didn’t consider this make or break, but I imagine some may be more concerned about the financial aspect of veterinary care and would want to know before already being there for a combined appointment.

One other thing to note is that my partner and I each pay for one pet, so I wanted to split the itemized costs for each pet between two cards, and asked the vet techs about this, and they said something along the lines of this could be done at the front desk to separate the charges. Once I went to checkout, I was told it could be split in half, but to separate the pets’ charges on separate invoices I would’ve had to tell the techs in advance (which I did, but I didn’t think this was worth saying so I just paid in full for both pets and said I’d figure it out later with my partner).

Will definitely be coming back to Sploot Belmar! Shout out to our sweet techs (Lynn & a sweet trainee whose name I think began with a “C”) and Dr. Carrera.

This vet office was amazing! From start to finish they were so professional and made us so comfortable. My pup was a little nervous and they were so patient and wonderful with him. I never felt pressured to do any services and they didn’t try to push any unnecessary procedures or services on us. They were straightforward and told us what was needed to help our pup. Their rooms are so cute and they each have pictures and names of the staff’s pets. You can tell they really thought of everything. In the entrance they have treats and toys for your pets and they give you a little bag for dogs or cats and a toy to go along with it. We ended up signing up for their membership / insurance plan and it cut our bill in half. They graciously told us about it when we asked about pricing and took the time to explain everything to us and get us taken care of. We are so excited we found our new vet and the location is so cute with so many stores nearby. Parking was very easy with plenty of options!

Dr. Sunny took such amazing care of my cat!! He went from a bad UTI to additionally finding an intestinal blockage and had to be transported for emergency surgery that led into removing >40% of his small intestines due to a foreign object. Dr. Sunny had two places they recommended after already taking Marmalade in as an urgent walk in after consistent vomiting only 24 hrs after our initial visit. She not only saw us on a surgery day and on her breaks between patients, she also called and waited on hold for over an hour with the surgeon we ended up going to later that night and was able to even get us a price estimate and take blood panels there to lower costs overall. Dr. Sunny and her staff completely saved my cat’s life that was in deep sepsis at 2 yrs old and gave him another chance. I will forever be grateful for her and her team for taking the extra time to make a world of a difference for my boy ❤️
