They saved me and my cat. I called in the morning because my cat had 27 urinary stones that needed to be removed. The previous place we were at couldn't do the surgery for a couple of days and we couldn't afford their rate. I had called every place I could find around me but no one could take him. One of the places I called recommend here. The front desk staff called me a few minutes later and said they were able to get my cat in the same day. I cried because I couldn't believe it. They did the procedure and set us up with medicine and instructions for him. He has been recovering well. The staff and Dr. Nicole Hamisak checked up on him the next day as well. One thing I liked about this place was that they told me the important things but didn't make me feel extremely worried. The tech (I wish I could remember her name) was very sweet and helpful. The previous place (while great in many ways) had left me feeling like my cat had to be put down if I didn't pay an obnoxious amount of money. I am forever grateful to this place. Words are not enough.

They saved my dog's life! He stopped being able to urinate on Saturday afternoon while we were out of town. As a new patient they got us in within 2 hours of opening on a Sunday, sedated him, did blood work and a urinalysis and cleared the blockage Sunday afternoon and got him scheduled for surgery first thing Monday morning. They kept him all day to make sure he was recovering well after surgery and I picked him up before close. Everyone, from the vets on staff to the techs and reception, were wonderful, caring, and you can tell they all care deeply about the animals they work with. It wasn't cheap, but I've seen estimates for similar situations 2 and 3 times as much as I paid, and I am very grateful to have found a new vet near our new home.

WOW. I’m so happy I chose to bring my pup, Willow here for establishing care and vaccines. Both Nina (our technician) and Dr. Welinsky were incredible, kind, and compassionate. They took time to make Willow comfortable, and warm up to them with lots of treats, pets, and positive reinforcement. I have a reactive dog, but with the way they took care of her, you wouldn’t have been able to tell! I cannot recommend this practice enough!

My cat Lil B (Busybody) is very well cared for at this establishment. The techs and vets always handle her and her parents with the most professionalism. I highly recommend this veterinary. They are affordable and have an urgent care in place.

Just had to come to Saint Pete animal Hospital and urgent care for the second time in three years. Needed an immediate visit due to a pyometra problem four years ago and they were able to save her from death.

This time was not that serious.

However, Niña and Anna made it just as wonderful and experience. The doctor was also very helpful and sweet and prescribed several useful medication’s in order to address the issue we were having.

I would like to thank you for your wonderful service to the Saint Pete area.

This veterinary practice is excellent. The veterinarians care and are skilled in their knowledge and ability. They are open later than most veterinarians and if you can’t get to them that they will get you in first thing next morning. The Veterinarians themselves actually own the practice so I think that speaks for itself.

Exceptional service! I called as a new patient for an emergency appointment for my dog and they were so accommodating and helpful, got us in within the hour just before closing time. All staff were amazing and took great care of my pup. Highly recommend not only as an emergency vet but also for all your routine appointments and checks.
