I initially read great reviews about this place that isn’t too far from where I live. The vet tech and veterinarian were so sweet! As a first time visitor, I really felt like they cared about my cat. I was seen promptly, my cat got his shots and I had a very thorough conversation with the veterinarian about my cat’s wellbeing. She printed helpful resources for me as well. I did not feel rushed whatsoever, great experience!

We visited them for our white shepherd for a few years. We used all sorts of services there like boarding, bathing, anal cleaning, vet clinics including a small surgery to remove a tumor. Overall they are doing ok. Some staff members are nice. I’m deducting 1 star for the front desk who could be disrespectful sometimes. Like refuse to print/show/or read us an itemized bill before we pay for it. Or refuse to use or measure our dog’s actual weight to correctly charge for bathing. Another star is deducted for their relatively high price. Like $300/400 for a lab test. Tbh if the service is really good I wouldn’t mind their price but we got better alternative. We switched to another local vet last year where everyone is attentive and reasonable.

Stamford Veterinary Center is the best! We've been taking our dog here for vet visits and daycare/boarding since he was a puppy and wish we could give them more than 5 stars.

Dr. Newton is always so patient, caring, and informative. She takes all of our concerns seriously and makes sure our dog is comfortable during his visits. She and the staff take the time to make sure we understand diagnoses/treatment plans, and they always follow up to see how he's doing post-treatment.

Jodie, Tiarah, and Corey have all been so helpful over the years -- they have given so much advice that has helped us train and keep our dog healthy. The whole team at Stamford Vet Center treats our dog like he's family and we know that he is well cared for and loved when we bring him in. After three years of vet visits and daycare, our dog still wiggles his way through the door and greets the whole staff with smooches. Cannot recommend Stamford Vet Center enough!

Love them! Great vet and great day care with competetive pricing. My dog Matilda is always happy when she sees us pull up. It's also an amazing feeling that the staff is as happy to see her as she is to see them.

I've just switched over to Stamford Veterinary Center and am very happy I did! All off the staff is very caring and friendly, the environment is bright and inviting.

Dr. Michelle Newton is just as thorough as she is knowledgeable - I feel very comfortable putting my pup's health under her watch. She even gave us a follow-up the same day to recommend supplements that might be helpful.

They also do grooming and boarding so we'll definitely be back soon! I highly recommend stopping in if you're looking for a new vet in the area.

We just moved to the area and Stamford Veterinary Center was recommended to us. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were able to get all 3 of our dogs in at the same time and couldn’t have been sweeter to them. Dr. Newton was great and reviewed our concerns with our senior dogs. Pricing was also affordable.

We used to take our dogs to a vet right down the road from us. Unfortunately, the last time we took our dog there for an annual visit the bill was over 1K (nothing special was done just a check up and some boosters). They also kept referring to my dog as “he” and gave her a new patient goodie bag. My dog is a female and has been a patient with them for two years. The INSANE bill and disconnect rubbed me the wrong way. I decided to try out Stamford Veterinary Center after seeing such good reviews. We took one of our dogs there for a first time visit and a procedure to get a growth removed. The visit and procedure cost was significantly less than what just a annual check up costs at our previous vet. Aside from cost, the way the entire visit was handled was so professional and I really felt like my dog was getting the proper care and attention she deserves. Also my former vet was constantly pushing a costly dental cleaning for my dog. The doctor at Stamford Vet looked at her teeth and said it was not needed at this time due to how well taken care of my dogs teeth are. We were so happy with the service of Stamford Vet Center and have already signed up our second dog to be a patient 😊.
