I would give them 6 stars if I could! Suzanne and Dr Whitehead saved my cat. I mixed up the dogs flea meds with the cats. My cat went into seizures and could have died from the toxins. They gave her fluids and meds and got the toxins out of her system. They were so kind in helping me not feel so bad about the mix up. Betty Boop is home and feeling great. Thank you! Thank you! I can’t recommend Taconic Veterinary Center enough! I have been taking my black cat, Sirius, there for over a year now, and Dr. Whitehead is his primary vet. Last week, Sirius experienced an emergency urinary blockage, and I was so grateful for the immediate attention he received. Dr. Whitehead and her team acted quickly and efficiently, ensuring Sirius was stabilized before transferring him to VEG White Plains. Their actions truly saved his life!

The office is always clean and welcoming, making each visit a positive experience. I appreciate the genuine care and compassion the entire staff shows towards both the pets and their owners. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for Sirius! If you’re looking for a great vet, Taconic Veterinary Center is the place to go!

My dog Leo had been vomiting for over 12hrs. We were scheduled to go on vacation early the next morning and was supposed to board him by 3p. I wouldn’t leave him or go on vacation unless I knew nothing was seriously wrong with Leo. My vet couldn’t see him in time to make that decision so I called Taconic Veterinary Center. I got an appointment at 12n. Everyone in the clinic was extremely nice and professional. Dr Whitehead was fabulous. So kind, listened to our concerns and cared about getting us an answer in time. She went above and beyond. X-ray showed no blockage but she did an exam and found an imbedded burr in Leo’s paw causing him pain and to chew on his leg, vomit from the hair and eat grass due to nausea. He wasn’t limping so we had no idea he had a problem with his paw! She removed the burr, gave him antibiotics and nausea medication and we were on our way. Dr. Whitehead and the staff were excellent. I would highly recommend them.

We’ve had our pets with Dr. Wallace and Dr. Whitehead for so long! When our youngest dog started having seizures they were there and have helped us manage his wellness for years. I thought I was going to lose him at 5. He will be 10 in August. We are so grateful.

We absolutely love everyone at Taconic Veterinary Center. I have been coming for years (mainly emergency needs in the past), and now with a new puppy, we are going through all of the puppy steps/visits. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Wallace, Dr. Everly, and Dr. Whitehead. They are INCREDIBLE at what they do (informative, kind, empathetic...). Everyone's love for animals here is evident - front desk, managers, technicians, and vets.

I have been a customer since they first opened. I did try a veterinary clinic closer to home but I didn’t like them as much. So I went back!! Dr Mary Wallace is my primary veterinarian which is also the medical director. She is excellent. Both personable and highly intelligent. They are open 6 days a week and usually can accommodate most people. The staff are all very friendly and polite and willing to work with clients.
