Seriously the best small pet shop for the best treats and grooming services. May is truly the best! The only one I know my dog can trust after all his abuse prior to being adopted by me.
The blue tail was her idea and ever since then we have ran with it. I will keep going back no matter what.
I highly recommend the service here. All the groomers as well. And for the best care & price in the neighborhood!

Because I like how May does grooming on my dog’s face I just let go and did not say a thing for the past times but this keeps happening and its not acceptable.
Every time my dog gets groomed either because the groomer cuts her nail too short or cuts her skin, she always comes home bleeding and they dont stop for a couple days.
Today when I was dropping my dog off for grooming, I emphasized and asked the groomer to make sure it does not happen again. However, my dog just got home bleeding on her paw again!!!!

-After this review the store owner reached out to me directly to amend the situation which I appreciate the apology and as we spoke I hope the does not happen again under her direct care going.

While the storefront is friendly and a good place to buy treats. I DO NOT recommend this place for grooming. I took my Pekingese to be groomed, which was quite expensive—$165 is more than I pay for my own haircut—and it took them 2.5 hours. My husband specifically requested a groomer named May and showed a photo with clear grooming instructions at drop-off. However, when we picked up our dog, he had been groomed by someone else who was never given the instructions we requested. A bait and switch.

We explicitly told the groomer DO NOT CUT HIS LONG EARS. Yet, when we picked him up, his beautiful long ears had been cut and thinned. To make matters worse, there were multiple dread-like tangles of residual hair they had trimmed but didn’t even bother to comb out (see photos).

We requested a smooth puppy cut, but what he got was a choppy, irregular mess with long shaggy patches all over his body and no discernible shape. (See photos) The underside of his paws still had excessive fur around the pads and the close shave around his anus (no picture) is frankly unattractive. While they gave him an adorable scarf post grooming, this is far from the high-end, expert grooming suggested by the price.

We normally go to Easy Wag, but couldn’t get an appointment this week. It would’ve been worth the wait. I do not recommend grooming services here.

Update since business owners response: Their response is gaslighting about my dog’s ears. The cc tv is the excuse they already used in another review here where a dog was injured. They did not address my comment about his paws, nor why we didn’t get groomer we booked. Furthermore they are trying to discredit my poor experience by finding a discrepancy in the amount paid, which they also did in another bad customer review in this feed. Obviously taxes and tips add up.

I just had my puppy groomed by Prentiss, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Prentiss did an amazing job—my little pup daughter looks adorable and feels so fresh. The care and attention she received were top-notch, and I could tell she was in great hands. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional and friendly groomer. We’ll definitely be back!

My dog got groomed last weekend and he has a bruised ween and the groomer shaved the skin off of his upper lip. He has been uncomfortable and in pain the past few days. I am disappointed that I paid $150 to get this

I can’t recommend seaport paw highly enough!! May is incredible and the only person I trust with my bernedoodle! We’ve been taking our pup here since her first haircut, and they are super accommodating especially when I need to squeeze a trim around the eyes. She knows exactly how I like her cut and always manages to keep her looking like a teddy bear even when it’s time for her summer haircuts!

Absolutely livid, they butchered my pup’s ears. Before & after photos below.

I took my cavalier spaniel for three specific services: sanitary trim (underbelly), paw pad trim, and nail trim. I specifically told the staff I didn’t want the ears touched. He asked if I wanted them cleaned, I said I didn’t want them cleaned or cut (so they were told twice).

I picked up the pup to see his ears had an inch trimmed off in jagged, uneven cuts. It is clearly lopsided. It looks absolutely dreadful and will take months to grow back.

When I pay $100+ for a trim (no bath, just the trim) my lowest expectation is that my requests are listened to. When I called to explain our dissatisfaction, I was given no remedy other than a quick apology for the miscommunication. I had to return in person to demand a refund.

Absolutely will not go back. Do better.
