I can't say enough great things about Dr Sidley, Tayla and Team. They have been extremely professional compassionate and have a true love for the pets they care for. The communication has been top notch very responsive.

We have worked the Better Vet For the last 2 or 3 years with our two senior dogs. Our dog, Sam , was a nervous boy, who hated the vet. Seeing the vet in our living room made a world of difference for him. Our girl, Sierra, had multiple chronic medical issues that only a14 yr old can have. Dr Ann Sidley and her Tech were caring, compassionate and respectful of our wishes. Their service included vaccines, blood draws, and medications, as well as a wealth of knowledge. When the time came to euthanize our Sam, Dr Sidley and tech made a very sad occasion as smooth as it could go and our Sam showed no signs of distress. We highly recommend their service. Thank you, Better Vet for allowing us to care for Sam and Sierra at home.

They were very thorough and listened to what I had to say and provided many useful suggestions for managing my cats health including supplements and diet. Ordering the prescriptions provided from their website was simple and easy.

This service is wonderful. My cat Ana is very sweet, but can be extremely nervous and fearful. I attribute this to her being a stray previously. I had been putting off bringing her to a vet because I knew it would be traumatizing for all parties involved. I finally decided to try a mobile vet, figuring being in a familiar setting might alleviate some of her anxiety.

The BetterVet Boston website is very user-friendly. It allows you to book an appointment within a 4 hour window. The day before they narrowed it to a two hour window, and then the day of I got a text with an ETA. For me this was when they were 34 minutes out.

Dr. Gollub and Karli arrived and they were outstanding. They went over Ana's history with me and my concerns about her anxiety and getting her microchipped. I confined my cat to the bathroom so she wouldn't have anywhere to hide. Even then, she managed to wedge herself behind the toilet and made the exam very difficult. She was completely petrified but Dr. Gollub and Karli were able to restrain her and were quick and efficient with what they needed to do, while still being kind and gentle with her. They did the physical exam, vaccinated her, microchipped her, and clipped her nails. He provided me with some advice on how to more effectively approach her when she's feeling anxious. He also provided a prescription I can use for her anxiety on an as-needed basis, i.e. when I need to trim her nails or transport her. This was such a weight lifted off my shoulders.

I wish I hadn't put this off for so long. She wasn't the most willing patient (lol) but they were such professionals and made it seem incredibly easy. I also appreciated that he didn't try and up-sell me on services - he was very honest when I asked about things he didn't think were necessary given her lack of symptoms. Came across as very trustworthy. I highly recommend!

I had an appointment today 11-12pm. I was notified via text Less than the 24 hr cancellation time this company requires customers to do or be charged $99 for cancelling!
Better vet was wonderful when it was not The Vets, you could call and speak to someone in office instead of now you get a call center in some other country!
I found out my appointment was cancelled because Dr was sick( completely understandable) but I was rescheduled 30 days from now no replacement Dr as is what would happen if I had an appointment with my human Dr who may be sick .... The hospital provides a replacement Dr to see you not an appointment 30 days away!! The fee of $99 I mentioned customer is charged for cancelling does Not pertain to this business... YOUR time ( after cancelling your day plans to be home) is Only Worth $50!! So be warned the "new" company is terrible customer service, and has sold out and Outsourced to another country to take our calls ... I give two thumbs down and I hope I can help others not to make the mistake of getting duped as I did.

Update I spoke to someone she said she would look into my case .. few hours later no call... A text came telling me they could not accommodate my pet Caesar.... Problem.... I have a Dog named Lexi... Not Caesar!! I then checked appointment page, I my appointment was Still there for rescheduled date... But it had an Additional pet Bugzy.... Which is Also Not My Pet... I have One pet. Nobody will call me to discuss my dilemma.... So I doubled down said I would contact Better Business Bureau if they did not call me to discuss... No call so I reported them this morning I received my medical records telling me to find another vet I "wasn't a good fit as I cancelled too many appointments" this will be a surprise to those reading this ... I Never since I've been a client cancelled.... And my pet insurance has the proof!!! Be very careful

Still, even in light of this review.... They Still won't contact me .... This is their new way to treat customers

We used BetterVet for my son, Rory James, who was unfortunately diagnosed with a rare form of feline cancer, nasal adenocarcinoma. BetterVet was able to come into our home so we didn’t have to bring Rory out and keep him comfortable in the home for steroid injections to help reduce swelling, and provide pain relief. Dr Cimino came out initially with Danielle. They both were great and saw Rory twice. They were helpful and informative and kind. Dr Gollub and Carly had probably 5 visits with Rory. They were absolutely great with Rory James. We never felt rushed. Dr Gollub is an extremely caring, kind person and he loved Rory. Carly was so sweet and comforting as well to Rory. We are using them now for our other son , Mario Joseph. I couldn’t think of better doctors and nurses for our sweet pets. BetterVet treated our kids like family and will always remember how amazing they were during Rory’s last few months alive. We are so grateful for them.

I can't say enough good things about this service. I was able to schedule a same day home visit for my 17 year old cat who had a bad ear infection. Dr. Tucker and Sam were kind, professional, caring, and wonderful with my cat, who doesn't like many people, especially strangers who want to handle her. They used various techniques to keep her still and safe in order to perform a full examination and provide appropriate assent and treatment. Their instructions to me were clear and concise. During the course of their examination they found another problem that I was not aware of and addressed it immediately. The day after the visit Sam sent me a an email with a comprehensive summary of all care provided during their visit as well as results of the cytology studies and detailed instructions for home care. I have already referred this team to two other cat owners I know who are in need of a mobile Vet service. So pleasantly surprised, and glad I found this service. Will definitely be using them in the future.

I’m am so happy with the care and compassion that was given to our beloved family fur baby and The response time on a sick visit was very fast for our fur baby Athena. We have been unable to transport Athena do to her high anxiety with leaving her life long home Five star treatment is what we received . Thank you Better Vets ❤️
