Been here a few times with a young German Shepherd who experienced GI issues. The one thing noticeable about this clinic is the endless options they can propose to bill you more for any "care" provided. Every visit did not adequately address our concerns. We ultimately found another vet that suited our needs better.

If you choose to go here, recognize you make the decision for what your pet may or may not need. They will prescribe the whole menu, when you may only need an appetizer. Take the time to educate yourself on how to care for your pet so you go in informed and don't fall for unnecessary procedures.

I had a 4 week old puppy that had aspirated milk and had difficulty breathing. I rushed her in there and one of the techs greeted me and took her to the back to do what they could for her. Things were looking grim but in the end she perked up and started walking around in the oxygen tent they had her in. I am very grateful to the entire staff and world recommend their services. And today they called me to see how she was doing and happy to report so far so good.

I have been going to this vet for 2 years and only recently had an issue, and I am appalled at the way my dog and I have been treated. My dog went in for a dental cleaning about a month ago and two days after procedure, he woke up with a hacking/chocking cough. The cough was debilitating and he was not sleeping, throwing up in the mornings, and unable to run/play as usual. The doctor stated it was probably kennel cough, so was given an antibiotic and cough suppressant. Didn’t make an impact, so then it was suggested I do an xray of his throat, which came out clear. So, then the doctor stated it is probably related to my dog’s heart. He has a mild heart murmur, so I paid for another procedure and got a cardiac workup. Meanwhile, I am also paying for narcotic strength meds so he can sleep at night. The testing came back from his heart, and it was fine and not the reason for the cough. The doctor never typed up or sent me her report, but verbally told me “We still don’t know why he’s coughing.” It was then suggested I pay for another procedure to put him under again and basically throat scope him. After paying $3k for everything, I decided to get a second opinion. The second vet took one look at my dog and medical records and said “your vet tried everything except a steroid”. After 4 days, my dog’s cough was completely gone. All he needed was a PILL, not more procedures!!!
This vet ran up $3k worth of medical testing and I was scared for a month my dog had congestive heart failure, when all he actually needed was a pill. They also wanted to charge me for another procedure, sedating my dog again, possibly injuring him further. I believe my dog was either misdiagnosed, or I was scammed. I have called the vet to discuss my concerns and no one has called me back. The lack of care and concern for my dog and myself is unethical in my opinion.
I suggest anyone who needs more than just vaccines, find a different vet

Dr. Groemminger and her staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. It’s hard when the sick animal can’t really communicate or speak but Dr.G spends time to throughly walk us through different options and possibilities and is a problem solving expert. She doesn’t mess around and talk about off topic items but focuses solely on the pet and the appointment. Before she leaves, she always ends with answering any remaining questions. I can tell she really cares about my pet. She takes her job seriously and very passionate and good at what she does. The rooms are always clean and the facility is neat and modern. She does a good job selecting her staff as everyone there has been pleasant and helpful. I longer wait times complaint that others have are valid but in order to get a high level of care and service it takes time so I understand. Just take your headphones and watch a show or listen to some music. I think this vet and her practice are one of the best.

If I could give it zero stars I would. My husband‘s best friend of nine years, died suddenly on a Saturday night, and we chose true companion because they were open. We brought her in to have her cremated and the girl upfront who took in the information wrote our name down wrong. When we went to pick our baby up, her last name was spelt wrong on her box and we knew that it was the front desk that did this because the card they sent us to tell us they were so sorry for our loss was also misspelled. So my husband goes to get her today almost 3 weeks after the initial passing, and they were extremely rude to him. They basically blamed it on the crematory and Took zero ownership for their mistakes. Mistakes happen and we understand that but take ownership. We are very disappointed in this entire process when this has been such a hard time on us and we are mourning the loss of our baby. I do not recommend this establishment as the girls upfront today were very Young and didn’t seem to care at all about his feelings.

The vet and staff is kind enough, however promptness is not their strong suit. Every single time (literally) we go there, we do not see the doctor until an HOUR later. Plus the prices here are more than the veterinarians in the area.

Very caring and capable group of people. We have a geriatric dog we just put to sleep and a 3 or so year old. Both get great care. In fact Puddin likely would not have been with us for 16 years but for great vet catch of early kidney issues and prescription of blood pressure meds. Pud then had a collapsed trachea and Dr Groeminger and Dr Wilson helped us manage it beautifully. When we put Pud to sleep they made it very private and comfortable. Highly recommend them.

Now Hops had his first teeth cleaning. Great care and communication.
