My baby, Max, began vomiting over the weekend (a week ago). By Sunday night, he was lying on the bathroom floor, and seemed to have shallow breathing. He didn’t care when I put him in the carrier, and did not make a sound during the 40 minute drive. I called them at the beginning of our drive, gave them the information on Max, and let them know when I would be there. When I walked in the door and told them that I had Max, he was immediately taken back to be examined. Long story short- Max had eaten what turned out to be 48 paper clips, tape, and topped it off with my hair. One of the paper clips got into his small intestine with a lot of my long hair. He had developed an obstruction. Dr. Rogers explained everything amazingly. She told me that if a ninja and a contortionist had a baby- it would be a cat. She discussed with me that he would need to be kept from jumping for two weeks and kept away from his two “brothers”- my other two cats because they would help him escape his surgical recovery onesie or his cone “of shame”. She told me that if she had time then she would take him to surgery before morning. She would “bury” his stitches- this way he would not have to have them cut out. In doing this, she said it would be very important to keep him from jumping for two weeks. I felt very blessed that she was able to take him to surgery that night. She called me after the surgery. Max did very well. She let me know what she had removed from his stomach, and would save it for me which she did. Most expensive paper clips that I ever bought! They needed to get a deposit from me for the base of what the surgery and hospital stay would cost. My card did not go through because I had a daily limit (I did not know that). The kind receptionist went and spoke with Dr Rogers, and given that I could not get a hold of my bank at 2 am, I gave what I could- what the card allowed, and they allowed me to call back later and give the full amount. They still took Max back and took care of him. I was very blessed with their kindness, understanding, and taking care of Max. I had to laugh at his X-rays, and Dr Rogers shared with me that she was in disbelief as well. We knew it was serious but she is a real person and we shared a laugh together. She did all of the blood work I had requested and taken the X-rays per my request because he had vomited a paper clip the week before and started eating again. This is why I had waited a little bit before bringing him in to them. She expressed understanding with that as I was feeling awful. I had a cat approximately 15 years prior that developed fatty liver and almost died because he stopped eating. This is why I requested the liver panel and checking his kidneys. She also checked to see if he was septic and/or anemic. He was neither, thanks be to God. When Dr Rogers called me to let me know how the surgery went, she explained everything that she had done and found during his surgery. He had woken up from anesthesia before she called me. She explained post surgical care and offered for me to come visit later in the day. Dr Bedwell called me to give me updates on Max. He came home on Wednesday, two days after his surgery and has done well. I did not feel that they stretched out his stay at all. They gave excellent care instructions. I felt very comfortable taking him home. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are very knowledgeable and kind when they have taken care of my babies. I had previously brought in another one of my cats and based on that visit, I knew where Max would get great care. I feel very blessed to have them in our community. I know where to take my babies if they get sick after hours. I thank God for them. Max is healing great, and his pain is controlled. I could not ever thank them enough!

If I could give a 100 stars I would. With our vet just closing up shop and leaving …we didn’t have a new vet yet. Our long hair haired female dachshund had a cyst to rupture and it was very deep. So, I called and the front desk was very compassionate and caring and told me to bring her in. The front office was as caring and considerate as the the back office. Our vet and staff were awesome. They cared for our baby and made us feel very comfortable..the price was very comparable for a 24 hr vet hospital. We had to take our other dachshund 3 times before she was 12 yrs old and it was awesome then as well. If you need them they are there..very knowledgeable and very compassionate.

We were very pleased with our experience (or at least as pleased as people whose dog was in critical care can be). The facilities are very nice and clean. The staff was wonderful-they call you at least 2x per day to update you if your animal is under their care. I was able to go visit our dog almost daily and they let me have a lot of time with him in a private room. We dealt with Dr Kuhl, and she was so caring and detailed and answered all the questions we had. One of the days that I visited, she came in while I was sitting on the floor holding my sick dog, and she sat down on the floor across from us and talked to me for 20 minutes about his care. Our dog has made a full recovery!

Stout ended up being diagnosed with a right side trigeminal nerve tumor. Dr. Rennie Waldron was compassionate, caring, and empathetic with Stout and explaining to us what was going on. She was knowledgeable and made sure we understood what all of our options were. She explained the pros and cons to all the options available. She made a traumatic and information overload situation manageable.

I could not be more happy with every single visit. The minute you walk through the door you're greeted by friendly Staff. I never waited even 10 minutes upon arrival. Dr.Lee's Nurse came t get Brindle each time, but the very last. I had a ritual of having a few pics of us snapped on each visit n which I would share to my friend base on Brindles journey through her Cancer Diagnosis and her weekly visits for Radiation Treatment's.
Dr. Lee from our first visit examined my dog had all Health Records ahead of our visit. Dr.Lee after his exam with Brindle came in and basically gave me two options in which after thoroughly explaining. I chose the Palliative Radiation, as I felt it was worth the Statistical numbers in which she would have the opportunity to have a little longer quality of life with some issues, as well possible others, but also in choosing to go this route. Dr.Lee said they could start her first treatment that day since we were three hours from Greenville. Dr.Lee called me after every single Radiation treatment, as Brindle was waking up. I got a written copy of discharge when leaving each week.
The last Week of Treatment they brought Brindle out with her own Personal Bandana/Scarf, Graduation Bag, Diploma, as well we got to ring the bell in Honor of her completing her treatments.
We couldn't be more thankful for everything they did in which I feel was worth our weekly drive to Greenville 3 hours there and three back and the time she was in treatment. I was able to take in some of the Great Downtown Greenville shops and Restaurants.
Our Most sincere thanks to everyone involved pertaining to Brindle's Treatment and Care, Dr. Lee his entire Staff. We will be forever grateful. May God Bless each and everyone who had any part in taking care of my most loyal confidant and friend now for the last 13.7 Years.
Michael Shea Helton, Brindle and my other little one Lillie who is in one picture laying beside her Sister when she arrived home from our last treatment.

Highly recommend. My dog is an Oncology patient. This has been an emotional experience having a dog with cancer. The staff are kind and caring. They have been respectful and patient with all my questions. I appreciate everything they have done for us and will continue to do for our follow up visits.
