My 15 year old cat stopped eating the week after Thanksgiving. The friendly, skilled, and compassionate staff were able to nurse him back into fighting form. I've no doubt that my fur baby would not have been with me and my family for the New Year absent their gentle ministrations.

I had to get my pup in on a Sunday morning and was able to get an appointment shortly after they opened. The staff was great from the check in process, the techs, and the vets. Everyone was pleasant and professional, everything was explained as we went, and I was given everything I needed before I left. The price was comparable to my normal vet for an exam and x-rays.

Today is a sad day. We had to put down our beautiful, 17-year old dog Loki. He was a trooper through the end, but feared vets. This made him a difficult and sometimes dangerous patient.

Dr. Preston and her staff were extremely compassionate and skilled at Urgent VET Care in Cockeysville. When inserting the catheter proved a challenge, they found a humane and painless way to do so. They didn't rush us and allowed us to be with him to the end. We are grateful for their patience and understanding and kind, generous treatment of us and Loki. It made it possible for him to leave us in peace.

UVC answered our questions and were supportive and efficient when we decided to euthanize our 17 yr. old Alaskan Husky lead sled dog. He was frightened around vets and a difficult dog to treat. You could not get a muzzle on him.

The staff had a workaround to using a muzzle and we were able to put him to rest in a peaceful dignified manner.

Thank you Dr. Preston and all the staff that made a difficult time a little easier for our dog, Loki, and us.

The entire experience was great! I was able to schedule online for a same day urgent appointment. The office wasn’t busy, so we were able to go to a waiting room immediately. They were also very well staffed.
My chihuahua was so comfortable she kissed all the techs and I’ve included a pic of her resting in Dr. Preston’s lap. She is usually not this comfortable at the vet!
They called next day to make sure my dog was doing well.
I would absolutely recommend them!

Took my girl in for a UTI. We had amazing care! The staff are all so wonderful and loving! If you are worried about wait times, this place is stocked with things to do! They have TVs in every room, Wi-Fi you can access, a drink bar (coffee & water), phone chargers, books and toy boxes. It was also very clean!

I received a follow up call to see how she was feeling and then I received this adorable card in the mail today. <3 I would highly recommend!

Really exceptional. I’ve taken three of my cats here on separate occasions. They are super friendly, pleasant waiting room, very professional, and not insanely priced (not cheap but not as bad as I expected.) Clear and communicative. It’s Clear that the people working here are animal people.
