I was in there to take a clients dog (I’m a dog walker) in for some bloodwork really quick, I had the best experience ever, they were so kind and sweet. They were funny, very happy to see me. They let me know everything I needed and was just overall amazing 10/10 highly highly recommend! I don’t remember the front desk lady’s names but they were amazing and made my experience absolutely wonderful!

This is a fantastic group of vets and staff, however I was forced to make the difficult decision to find a new vet today due to another very large rate increase. This was for my dog’s annual exam and immunizations. Nothing special. It’s disappointing and I’m frankly angry as hell at VCA corporate. Looking back at previous year’s receipts, this year crosses a line. I say no.

Please understand this is in no way a reflection upon the vets or staff at VCA Desoto or their service—they’re superb and some of the best in the area, and I’m grateful for the love and care they’ve given to my dogs over the years. I understand the staff must be disheartened when a long-time customer has to walk out.

In closing, if you’re on a fixed income or like me, feel that $600 is extortion for an exam and immunizations, other providers in the area should probably be sought out first. In an urgent emergency, the staff here will perform miracles.

Sigh…goodbye VCA.

Dr Brown is amazing. She will fight and do anything possible to keep your pet alive. If you need to go to a animal hospital go this this location. Everyone is so caring. My baby girl will be missed but I knew she was in great hands

Would not suggest if you have a nervous dog or a dog you just adopted. I did warn them in advance that my dog was very nervous and had just been adopted. They took her out of the room away from me when I asked them not to because she is attached to me and I also do not like her being handled where I can't see exactly what they are doing especially since this is her first bet trip. They said I could watch from the door then closed the door in my face. The receptionist also leaned down and got in her face when she is clearly nervous.

Thank for making something so hard just a bit easier. I came here with my elderly dog 3 years ago. They've always been super nice and supportive. This weekend I knew it was time, they made room even though fully booked to see my girl, they were very compassionate and caring explaining my options to continue care or not. Never pushed me one way or another and just let me take my time with it. Such a hard thing to dog for my companion of 17 years but I'm glad I did it here. No sales pitch just basic material to explain your options. You don't pay for anything if you want a private cremation. $335 includes urn. They also give you a care package. It was all very gentle and kind.

Amazing vet office!! Dr. Brown is so caring and loves my baby as much as I do. Everyone is always so nice and cheerful. I was unsure how my dog Harley would react, but she loves everyone there. Dr. Brown did everything she could to help my fur baby feel better. I will definitely be coming back here.
