If this place took care of people, I would go there.

As it stands, I have been visiting Katy Trail since it opened with my pack (one English Bulldog and five Dobermans over the years). From the moment someone picks up the phone, you are in expert hands. I have called crying, exhausted, frustrated, hysterical, confused, and scared at all the things my dogs have done/experienced, and Katy Trail has everything in hand. I drive from Far North Dallas to use this clinic, and I will continue to use Katy Trail as long as I have dogs.

From vaccines to exams, tummy troubles to teeth cleanings, cancer to “what the heck is this,” Katy Trail’s team of amazing veterinarians, techs, and staff have handled it. The doctors are top notch with the best bedside manner in the world.

They have handled three cancers, seizures, a brown recluse spider bite, bladder infections, IBD, kidney issues, liver issues, eye injuries, paw injuries, mystery injuries because the dog “woke up like that,” side effects from surgeries, teeth, and precocious puppies that like to eat everything. They have kept my dogs alive and healthy, even when my dogs decide to push the envelope and eat their bandages or become vomit comets.

When there is no more that can be done, Katy Trail is there. I have made “that” decision four times, and once I had the opportunity to bring my girl to Katy Trail to say goodbye. Those moments are brutal, but she was surrounded by people who truly loved her. When my red Doberman died, there was not a dry eye in the house. Everyone who worked there was heartbroken. I was heartbroken. We grieved together. I have never experienced compassion on that level when losing an animal.

Katy Trail has acupuncture, cold laser therapy, and so much more to offer. They also have the best specialists on speed dial and do not hesitate to contact those who can help my dogs when needed. I have met and used the best of the best because of my affiliation with Katy Trail.

You hear horror stories about vets not doing a good job, poor customer service, or other issues. This has never happened in over two decades of care (or however long they have been open).

There is no other vet clinic that can compare. Just get in the car and come here. You will be glad you did.

Been taking my dog here for nearly 8 years. Staff is incredible and always willing to go the extra mile in many ways. Doctors do the same and communicate well, provide detailed info, and are thoughtful in their approach to treatment. I have an older dog now that deals with various issues from time to time and feel an extra level of comfort going here.

I have been coming to VCA Katy Trail since I moved to Dallas, i’ve been to others around the metroplex but none have shown the quality of care for my dog quite like this one has. From prompt answering of phone calls, to quick medication refills, to excellent communication across the staff I just love this vets office. My dog has kidney disease and from the moment of diagnosis to present day, both vets she trades off in seeing (usually due to scheduling) they take excellent care of her. They work with me through scheduling, pricing, even easing my anxiety as a pet parent.

If I could give this location 10 stars I would, for as long as I am in Dallas, I will always bring my dog here, this place cares for your pets as if they were their own.

Cannot say enough good things about this vet. If you have a cat, Dr. Snyder is incredible. It’s been three years since I lost my little guy, and the impact she had on me during that time was truly something I will never forget.

Everyone was kind, from the check in to the nurse to the vet herself! They were patient and listened to all my concerns, as well as they didn’t force anything on me. I ended up getting my cat vaccinated since he needed them, but they even gave us a gift bag with toys and our paperwork! I definitely recommend coming here!

Every staff member here is polite, thorough, and caring. I get a text or phone call to check in on my dog after every visit, whether it was for shots or her getting spayed. The care club plan and the app are awesome and makes everything so easy, too. As a first time dog owner, I couldn’t be happier with the support I get here. I hit the jackpot with this place and I highly recommend.

Had a good experience the first visit but once I started going monthly for my dogs appointment the service really started to dwindle. They gave me the wrong prescription and luckily I caught it. When I went to her appointment after that they were very short and kind of sassy with me. I don’t think I’ll continue my dogs check ups here. Not to mention the prices are pretty high for the level of customer service. The actual veterinarians however are extremely nice and professional otherwise I’d rate 2 stars
