Can't say enough of how grateful I have been over the years for VCA's services and kindness to my dogs. My big boy Megatron went in today for an assessment seeming so anxious and scared, but Rylie was an absolute sweetheart and professional with him. Dr. Peck knows him well and thoroughly explained the treatment plan to help him get better. Thank you both so much! I always highly recommend VCA.

And a thank you to their boarding services as well! Megatron melts into a puppy whenever he gets around Ryan lol

We have had nothing but positive experiences with VCA Meadow Hills. We adopted a very anxious and reactive 80 lb dog ~2 years ago. When it came time for his first vet visit, I was very nervous about how my dog would behave. I gave the front desk a heads up about his behavior, and they were very understanding. They knew how to handle him, and I could tell he left with a positive experience. Since that first visit, we have been working on lots of training with our dog, including the incorporation of preventive measures, like muzzling while at the vet. Our vet(s) (Dr. Gerds and Dr. Small) have commented on the progress made in his temperament. On top of the great medical care we have received, including everything from stomach issues to teeth cleaning, we have also received exceptional understanding from the vets, techs, and front desk personnel about our dogs behavior. The latter is especially important to me because it is not always easy for people to understand dog reactivity. Thank you VCA for both your medical expertise as well as your kindness.

When we moved here 3 years ago, we established care for our 14 year old kitty Eli. He had IBD, Diabetes, and required small amounts of prednisolone. We knew his IBD was taking its toll, but he seemed to thrive and still race around the house, eat and drink.

He started to develope stumbling, and we kept him off any high place. Last Friday we had to make an appointment to let him go. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. But he was 17 years 8 months old. He stopped eating and let us know he was ready.

The staff at VCA are among the BEST in vet care. They take an active interest and let you know they care about your family member. All are amazing, however Dr. Laura Serreyn got us through a specifically tough time with Eli Sept 23 when he developed an abscess on his tail. I thought that we were going to lose him then, but they did everything they could and he pulled though.

Thank you again. When we are ready in the future, we want to adopt bonded senior kitties, or special needs. We will re-establish our relationship again at that time.

We love our vets at VCA Meadow Hills. From puppies our dogs have gotten top care from the staff at VCA. From a horrible accident which left our dog with a broken spine to simple vaccines to regular checkups, our dogs have gotten top care from VCA Meadow Hills and we have loved all the doctors our dogs have gotten to meet. Totally recommend.

My husband and I have been taking our dogs and cats here for years, and we've found them to be professional and compassionate. When I trimmed one of our dog's nails a bit too short, we took her in and she was seen straight away, late in the day. When our two elderly cats passed, about a year apart, they were nothing but kind, sympathetic, and considerate of our grief. It was so lovely of them to take their paw prints, and when we received their ashes, they were packed beautifully. We've never had trouble getting an appointment.

I will forever recommend here!
My cat had a bad heart (We knew she had a murmur), but its what caused her to pass away unexpectedly at 2 yrs old.
She started seizing so we went to the nearest vet. They were able to take her back immediately. There was nothing they could have done as she passed while they tried to work on her. I was devastated. I've never experienced the loss of a pet before. Every single person I came in contact with was so incredibly compassionate.
We received a very nice sympathy card in the mail and when I went to pick up her ashes, she was in a nice little urn with some ribbon on it. They also returned the blanket we brought her in with, laundered and wrapped in up nicely.
They made an awful experience manageable and I'll be forever grateful.

Our Vet Dr. "S " Is right on top of things when it refers to medical care for our little Yorkie Myla. The staff is great and are very professional. We are glad to have tranfered our fur babys care under VCA Meadow Hills. 💖

I recently moved to the area and this office is two blocks from my house, so it seemed the natural choice. The staff has been nice so far. The actual vets, tho, have been a hit or miss. Mostly miss. One of them tried to upcharge me outrageously for services that were half the price and better explained to me by my previous vet, who I ended going to for that particular issue. Recently, I have had two different female vets that appeared very cold and unbothered by the proceedings and one that clearly gave off the vibe that I was wasting her time. My Riki girl has lost her voice and could have an upper respiratory infection, but this vet wrote down on her chart that she could not see down her throat, even when I helped her get it open. She refused to look properly and said “that’s not helping”, as my Riki sat perfectly still with her mouth open. Wrote her off with a “clean bill of health” and she’s over here gagging and hoarse. If I had a different vet in the area, I would go to them instead of praying that I will get an ok service and that I will be able to afford it, since they also upcharge you like it’s going out of style.
