We love the vet here! She’s so knowledgeable and really knows how to work with anxious dogs. Our new rescue dog loves the spray can treats they spray on the wall. It really helps distract him while he gets a checkup. The vet and tech are welcoming me and Hank!

The desk staff is always so welcoming and attentive. They helped make sure that are Humane Society discount was processed.

Always love how they decorate for the holiday! Highly recommend this place.

Miss Molly has been with VCA Pacific since I adopted her in Jan 2021. During that time she’s not only had all her wellness checks, but also had two urgent care visits. The staff is always super friendly and are considerate of Molly’s tendency to react to other dogs. This is super important to me, as Molly is a pit mix and this automatically gets prejudged. I also appreciate the Care Club plan, as it makes providing all Molly’s routine care affordable and helps decrease the cost impact of any unexpected issues.
VCA may be a little pricier than other clinics, but the service and atmosphere they provide is well worth it.

Thank you for being so compassionate and caring while taking care of my sick cat River. Thank you for being up front and honest about the outcomes and being mindful about the cost of hospitalization, and the realistic outcome of her illness while having River's best interest and quality of life in mind.

After having such a frustrating experience at her previous veterinarian, while getting her diabetes diagnosis and having delayed orders for her medications made it really hard to trust another veterinarian. Coming to your clinic fully made me feel that River was in the best of hands. Clinics and veterinarian staff like you give me hope there are good eggs out there in practice for the right reasons.

This was Mr Bears first visit to this veterinary hospital. Needing a 6 year check up and update on vaccinations, Thank you Dr. Lara. We loved the welcome and will be bring Mr Bear back for follow up visits. His favorite treat- “bacon” 🥓🖤🤎🐾

Every time I come into this clinic I am greeted with several smiles and hello’s all around. The staff really makes you feel welcome.

The vet techs are amazing. They are attentive and always make sure they understand and are patient with me when I am trying to explain something. They are gentle with my girl which makes me very happy as my cat is my world.

The doctors have all been kind and caring when it comes to my cat. They take the time needed to do a full examination The service is top notch and I will only take my girl here.

This is my preferred vet in the Tacoma area! My 14yo dog has been coming here on and off for the past 12 years - they are always very knowledgeable and full of compassion for her, make things easy to understand, and listen to your concerns and questions to fully make sure everyone is fully on board for any treatment plans. Thankful to have such wonderful urgent care for my Lola when things don't go as planned.

I am so thankful they were able to see my dog today. I had been extremely worried and in clear distress about my dog and the staff were extremely helpful. Sara in particular calmed my nerves and reassured that my dog Roxy was in good hands and really made me feel that my dog was going to get the best care. Recently our senior rescue pups had a wellness exam at VCA Pacific Avenue. The front staff was efficient and courteous, Veterinary Assistants Jasmine and Sara were very kind and thorough in working with our pups to take weights and vital signs. Dr. Christensen was very knowledgeable. She did a gentle physical and ordered lab work. The lab work showed one of the pups had a UTI. She prescribed treatment for the UTI as well as pain from arthritis and we can see a big improvement in energy and mobility! We feel really comfortable that our pets are receiving great care at VCA!
