I can’t say enough about VCA Park Cities Animal Hospital! From the moment we walked in, I was blown away by how friendly and welcoming the staff was. The facility was immaculate, and honestly, it smelled like an ice cream parlor rather than a typical vet hospital—so refreshing!

I called them at 2:44 pm, and to my surprise, they were able to schedule us an appointment right away. Within 20 minutes of arriving, we were already with the vet. The whole experience was seamless and stress-free. They took their time to be thorough and went over everything clearly. I felt that their prices were fair and reasonable, especially considering the level of care provided.

I’m so impressed that I’ll definitely be visiting more frequently. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a caring and efficient vet experience!”

Dr Heard took over the clinic somewhat recently, and it’s totally changed the place for the better. She’s a deeply talented and caring professional. Dr Heard’s hard work and thoughtful treatment plan has totally changed my cat’s life. She identified that he was in discomfort, and recommended a variety of treatments until we found the right one. She also followed up repeatedly outside of clinic hours. It is obvious, in addition to being a wonderful doctor, that she deeply cares for her patients. I now have a playful and happy cat thanks to her. We really appreciate everything you’ve done for Boo!

I have two cats (15 yo female and 3 yo male) and a mouse, all my furkids are taken care of by this clinic. 🥰 my two cats have been coming here since 2021.

I had no idea my VCA had a Dr that actually took care of rodents too. My mouse is a rescue and I have little to no information about her. I recently discovered an abnormality on her hip and took her in the next day to find out she has a tumor. Apparently Mousey has outlived her life expectancy with me and got very social - so we decided to leave it as is and I’ll be giving her all the cheese and fruit she can have. 🥹

Took our sweet 11 yr old Shotgun (English Bulldog) to VCA Park cities. We saw Dr Beck. He was so gentle , and professional with our sweet Shotgun. We discussed his palliative care , with compassion and much input from his nervous Nelly mama, me! Can’t thank him or recommend him enough. His transparent knowledge was comforting and refreshing. Thank you Dr Beck. We came home with our baby and a plan. Today was a great day for us. Thank you for listening and understanding all.
ps Shotgun says you are cool!!!!!! And your tech with all the treats was his favorite.

First, let me compliment the staff - all were friendly, courteous and professional. Next, the building - tidy, clean and well cared for. Now, the procedure and veterinarian. I had my service dog in training spayed and her stomach "tacked" (a surgery to prevent bloat), all via laparoscope. Dr. Heard did an amazing job. Hazel was returned to me with excellent pain control (and hilariously drunk; I took several videos) and wearing a surgery suit so she wouldn't be inclined to lick her incision. I could have elected to have both procedures performed the old fashioned way at my regular veterinarian, but I believe this is much better done through the smaller incisions. Although not inexpensive (and it should be more expensive, really, it requires specialized tools and training), it was the right thing to do. I would highly recommend this practice and this procedure to anyone.

We had a great experience! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and our nurse Octavia did so much to make sure our pet felt comfortable. Dr. Kohout really knew her stuff and took a lot of time to explain all the different medication options to us so that we felt confident about the next steps. We highly recommend this clinic!
