I heard about this ER vet that is located in East LWR. While my girl didn’t need to be seen in an ER, I found out that if she is a patient with this vet and needs to be seen at the ER, the fees are much more affordable. So I decided to give them a try.

First off the communication before the appointment was very impressive. They got her records from our previous vet, followed up to confirm appt and gave me lots of info to prepare me for this clinic. I appreciated being well informed.

When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful walking path (that allowed me to get a free stool sample lol). The entrance and facilities were beautiful and clean. The front desk was busy but very friendly and personable. Kim checked me in and was a smiling, friendly face.

The vet tech that took us to the room was kind and thorough. Dr. Rieskamp was very impressive with lots of knowledge, patience, kindness and great communication with me and my girl. She emailed me less than 24 hours later with the bloodwork results and her interpretation. I really appreciated her clear communication and obvious knowledge and care.

I was pleasantly surprised that the bill was not as bad as other places. They did a free sanitary trim to clean my pup and were very gentle and kind. My Abby was snuggling up to the vet tech by the time we were ready to leave.

I took a photo of the drink station because they have a delicious water machine. Yum!

This is a very well run office. It felt professional and kind from start to finish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had to bring my cat Louie here at around 1 AM from Venice. It was a bit of a hike, but after coming here I wouldn't of wanted to bring him anywhere else. Very knowledgeable and great people. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. *Update* I had to bring him back the next day. They waived the normal $170 visit charge and did some more test and gave him some antibiotics. Louie is good as new now. These people are fantastic. Couldn't recommend them any more.

I don’t ever leave reviews but I am leaving one for this place because it was outstanding in every way. I was referred here by another vet on Thanksgiving. My Chihuahua had an emergency and this facility saved my Dogs life. He stayed there overnight and they did everything they could to delay surgery trying to avoid cutting into my Dog which was quite honestly the best thing they could have done. This is extremely rare. Most places will immediately jump to surgery before exhausting all other options first which I truly appreciated. They treated my Dog like their own pet and Dr. Diaz saved his life. I am forever grateful that they were open on Thanksgiving. The situation was terrible but as soon as I arrived I felt like my Dog was in good hands. When I called - I wasn’t put on hold. I was able to immediately speak to the doctor or nurses watching him. This was outstanding and very different from the usual on hold times in NY hospitals. Being from out of town - I was very hesitant to trust a vet hospital in an area that wasn’t my Dogs primary vet near his house. Based on this experience - I am glad I did because he was treated extremely well. High level of competence - professionalism - everyone from the staff to the doctors is trained well and clearly loves animals. Thank you for saving my Dogs life. If you have an emergency during a holiday - this is certainly the place to go and I am so happy I found them. I will be telling everyone I know about this experience. Thank you Dr. Diaz. Thank you to everyone who spent all night taking care of my boy. Thank you for saving his life. Thank you for working on Thanksgiving and for treating our pets as your own family. If you weren’t open - my Dog wouldn’t be here today. If you are a New Yorker you will appreciate this place. They rival any of the top places in NY.

I returned home at midnight on a Saturday from a brief trip to find my sweet fur baby kitty laying in her water dish, nose crusted over with concealed snot and struggling to breathe. I cleaned her up but still concerned I decided to take her to Veterinary Medical Center. They were the closest open center with a doctor available. They took Stella from me right away to get her vitals and examine her while they got her history from me. They were direct, great, efficient and caring. They were everything you would want for a loved one in crisis when you feel helpless to heal them. I could not have asked for a more perfect team of people to address Stella's concerns, consider my financial abilities, acknowledge her primary care team and alleviate the immediate health concerns while giving her support to carry her through the couple of days before she sees her doctor. My sweet kitty came home talking up a storm which she hasn't done for a while, cuddling, sleeping, resting, not itching (there was a flea issue also), and wanting attention. She is quickly returning to her usual self. They called first thing this morning to check on her. The level of care is what you want for those you Love. During our visit, the staff listened to me as well as her. They told me how sweet she is ☺️ and reassured me that for a cat who was ill, she was doing very well, her face and eyes were clean and clear, and it was clear how well she was cared for. Fur Mommy needed to hear that!
I highly recommend this facility and the staff. They were compassionate, warm, efficient, knew their stuff, and considered the entire picture when caring for Stella and me! I was a wreck when we arrived, of course but left there feeling very relieved. My sweetie is doing much much better in less than 36 hours from being seen by them. Thank you for all you do. I am so grateful.

Oh, and the facility is beautiful, pristine and offers a coffee bar and comfortable stylish furniture and exam rooms for those long waits. Very Lakewood Ranch if that were a design esthetic.

We were told to go to LWR Veterinary medical center by our vet when our dog was most likely poisoned.
This team of doctors especially Dr Diaz took care of our beloved dog and took her out of he'll.
We thought we were going to lose her.
She is home resting. We are so grateful for this hospital.

My dog needed emergency surgery 2 weeks ago. Our vet sent us to this medical center. Dr. Cresci saved our dog Krew’s life!! She is so sweet and she spent extra time talking to us after his surgery. Our whole experience was amazing! All of the staff were so nice and kind to us during this traumatic time. Everyone is professional and the facility is clean. The office is new and modern. Krew’s after care was also great! I felt very confident leaving my dog over night. They called me first thing in the morning to give me a report. I recommend this hospital and would definitely bring him back again!

As new residents experiencing an unexpected health crisis and loss of our beloved Honey, we are very grateful for a most compassionate and empathic entire practice. Every staff member from calls, reception, in office, home visit, and paw prints made a difference that helped us navigate through a very difficult time. These are good people who care.

I arrived with my Dachshund, Stella, in a complete panic as she had been violently throwing up with diarrhea. The staff calmed me as we waited to see Dr. The vet tech, Shay I think, was kind and thorough. All this was good and very helpful; additionally, Dr. Viebranz was AMAZING. Her human and dog bedside manner was so warm and kind - you can tell she truly loves dogs. She was incredibly thorough in every way and explained everything in a gentle manner. I wish she were in private practice, but am so grateful for her being our doctor in this emergency situation. Great follow up with call in questions after. Staff is awesome, too.
