Dr Wight and his team are so thoughtful and caring! My baby had to have an emergency splenectomy and they got her in same day. Post surgery, we were told she had been hemorrhaging and he removed a pint and a half and of blood! Although the results regarding the tumor weren’t what we wanted to hear, he literally saved her life and bought her a little more time ❤️ I will be furever grateful for you and your awesome Team Dr. Wight!

I traveled almost 6 hours from central Florida to get a partial thyroidectomy for my 12-year old dog. All of the places I priced in my area were astronomically high and I was wondering if I would even be able to afford the surgery at all. Veterinary Surgery Service Inc was very transparent with their costs and answered all my questions. Dr. Wight and his staff were amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. My dog made a quick recovery with no complications. Dr Wight even called personally to update us on lab results and answer any postop questions I had. It was definitely worth the drive. The surgical cost turned out to be even lower than what they had initially quoted me! Dr. Wight could easily charge twice the amount he does which just goes to show he actually loves his job and taking care of other people's fur babies. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Wight.

After 3 different vets, we were referred to Dr. Wight. We drove from Pensacola. This was the best experience I have ever had with vets or their clinics. It was a beautiful facility and the staff were great! Dr. Wight's charges were reasonable and appropriate. He was very friendly, professional and likable. We cannot write a good enough review on this facility and surgeon. Our English Bulldog's tail surgery was beautifully done. Thank you for this wonderful experience with our pet.

I traveled 8.5 hours to Ft Walton Beach to have liver shunt surgery for my 3lb dog. Dr Wight and his staff were incredible!! The best in every single way! Dr Wight is amazingly knowledgeable and explains everything in detail, not to mention his surgical skill, outstanding! . He made time to see us at any given time. He even offered an after hours number to text. I highly recommend anyone to see Dr Wight. He’s the best we’ve ever seen!

We can’t even begin to describe how thankful we are for Dr. Wight and his staff! Our cat suffered for almost 2 months with an esophageal stricture. We couldn’t find anyone that was equipped or experienced to help us without also being quoted almost $10k. We were losing hope and thought we’d have to make the difficult decision to put our sweet fur baby down. Being referred to Veterinary Surgery Service was the biggest blessing. Not only has he helped our baby, Oscar, but his cost was much more affordable. Thank you to Dr. Wight and his incredibly kind staff. They have also called numerous times to check on Oscar which we appreciate so much ❤️ I 1000% recommend this wonderful place!!

We got our cats front leg amputated here and they helped us every step of the way and were very professional and helpful. They also helped us get him fixed while he was under so we didn’t have to put him under twice for two separate surgeries. I couldn’t have been happier with how things were handled despite our fur kiddo having to lose his arm.

Dr. Wight and his staff are truly amazing! They are friendly, caring, compassionate, positive, extremely knowledgable and professional. They made our corgi's PLDA procedure a seamless, very positive experience. Our pup loved Dr. Wight and his team and was always eager to return for his re-checks so he could see his new friends! Definitely one of the most positive veterinary experiences I've had over decades of owning and working with animals.

My agility dog needed TPLO surgery. No issues at all with the surgery or recovery related to her knee. Great care by everyone. We had one complication - she has Lyme disease and likely flared due to the stress of the surgery and recovery. This flare was diagnosed by her regular vet. She developed hip pain a bit later, shortly after starting antibiotics, likely related to the Lyme disease. Dr Wight did a very thorough post op exam of the knee and then examined the hip, diagnosing the pain she was experiencing was from the hip, not the knee. Watching his exam, it was obvious that he found the source of her discomfort - the hip. Fascinating watching him skillfully examine and diagnose the issue. Very happy with all the care received. I tell all my agility friends (and non agility dog owner friends) about the great care we received.
