We had to say goodbye to our Gizmo on Sunday. I was in such distress, but the staff and especially the Dr were so compassionate. They explained everything and were very calming. The doctor had the best bedside manner I’ve ever seen in a veterinarian. My boy had the most peaceful and serene send off. There was a candle that read “When this candle is lit, someone is in mourning, please be respectful” And there was a jar of Hershey kisses that read “goodbye kisses” 😭 As awful as the situation was, they made it comforting. There was a couch that my husband and I could sit on and hold him through the whole process. We even got a condolences card in the mail today from them. I really wish this place were our regular vet and not just emergency. We would switch SO fast! Thank you everyone at Lakeland Vets ER for your compassion.

My sweet chocolate lab needed emergency surgery to clear a blockage in her stomach (she thought a large sock would go down easily LOL) and i am SO thankful that my regular vet recommended VETS ER in north lakeland. We were able to get my dog in that same afternoon and the surgery was completed same day. They treated my pup with so much love and care. I felt so comfortable with her in their facility. Their communication was so great and they were more than happy to answer all of my questions before AND after the emergency visit. Safe to say that their number is now saved in my phone. I highly recommend VETS ER and so does my Miley girl! Thank you so much Dr.Curry & the amazing team at VETS ER. 🤎

Urgent Read:
I brought my cat Camo in because he had an abscess in his elbow due to a cat fight. When I tell you this office is AmAzing they went above and beyond and I felt so lucky and comfortable to have the staff working to help my cat. The doctor did a fantastic job with flushing out the infection and the wound looks great and my cat is now feeling so much better. Thank you so much for caring for these animals and I appreciate everything you did for me and my cat. You guys rock! MICHAEL

Only good things to say about Doc Curry and her team. Not as common to find a veterinarian in the evening hours of Christmas Day who does a emergency surgery under anesthesia. No words can explain how grateful we are. Our German Shepherd says Thank You to the whole team.

Very grateful for how quickly this team was able to get my cat assessed and diagnosed. The staff were all very professional and kind. They kept me well informed about my pets condition and my treatment options. My fur baby stayed overnight and I received multiple calls each day for updates and overall they were very easy to communicate with. It was a little more on the costly side, but that was anticipated with overnight emergency care and well worth the care my cat received. Fortunately he made a full recovery with this teams help and if needed I would return to this clinic.

This place was extremely helpful at a scary time! My chihuahua needed some bloodwork and the vet went over everything in great detail and helped my baby. From the front receptionist to the girls in the back y’all were very comforting! They treated me and my baby with such great care. I definitely recommend them. 😊

On Tuesday, March 4th 2025, I suffered a tragic loss. My dear dog "Vlad" collapsed at home and I took him to Vets ER. The staff met me at curbside with a stretcher. Vlad was a 65lb Belgian Malinois. He was taken back immediately and evaluated by Dr. Berlin. His prognosis was very poor and he was in critical condition. In the midst of my sobbing grief and anxious state, I encountered a calm, comforting and compassionate staff. Dr. Berlin, Briana, Sarah and LJ were the best caregivers for both Vlad and my daughter and myself. Losing a pet is never easy. A very large thank you and hug for all that they did. I strongly recommend this facility for their knowledge, efficiency, compassion, cleanliness and overall great care.

Kind, thoughtful, and respectful. Both vets were exceptional and knowledgeable and extremely compassionate. Thankful to every staff member that we encountered. Each of you played a part that made our visit peaceful as if could be. The space was calming and allowed us to sit and say our goodbyes as if in our own space.
