West Side Animal Clinic saved the life of my service dog. We had a medical emergency while in Hamilton. We were visiting from Texas and we were unable to get his medication shipped in. Despite being from out of town, they allowed my dog to be seen immediately and they provided his life saving medication. I will forever be grateful to this Doctor and staff.

I think they do excellent work.

However, charging triple for what everyone else charges for a spay is ridiculous. I want to give you my business, and I could understand paying a premium for superior care but not at almost triple what is commonly charged. Not to mention, it seems every appointment is a couple hundred dollars.

Great service and care, but we aren't wealthy enough for your business.

The late Dr. Alfred would be ashamed of what Dr. Horton turned his practice into. My family have been clients at West Side Animal clinic since the early 1980s. Three generations of pets.

When my mom’s dog had a stroke and was paralyzed, the earliest they could see the dog was two weeks. My mom, herself an elderly woman in bad health, during the tough time of her 16 year old dog dying, had to scramble to find a clinic that she could drive to and had an appointment.

When it was Dr. Alfred’s clinic they had time to see emergency cases in the same day.

Not to mention, the costs have skyrocketed. After the incident with the dog, my mom changed vets for her cat, and the monthly costs of medicine for her cat have gone down drastically.

It’s a shame. This place used to provide excellent care, at a fair cost, and personalized service. It was never a charity but they took care of their clients.

Now, it is a scummy business; profits come first, second, and third with the care and well being of animals a distant fourth.

We took in a friend’s sister’s dog when the lady passed away and I emailed WSAC explaining and asking for Lacey’s vet records. Paula immediately responded and sent me her records through email and also sent condolences. I thought that was all very nice! Thank you for everything.

I have been going to Westside animal clinic for at least 38 years. They have been there for me taking the best care of my cats, dogs and me when hard decisions had to be made. I now have a husky Ruby who is soooo hyper and hates going to the vet. The people here go over and beyond to make her feel relax and able to complete her visits. I also use them for boarding when we go on vacation. I can’t say enough about the love and care they have for animals. I don’t think you will be disappointed in the services of Westside animal clinic.

Monty, the Most Handsome Cat in North America, had the tragic combination of long hair and chronic diarrhea. I've literally spent thousands of dollars trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Dr. Abby Parrent took the time to read his records and posited that Monty might have IBS and gave me some pills to try and, by cracky, it worked! Both Monty and I are much happier! I'm now a lifetime client of the West Side Animal Clinic thanks to their tender care of my fuzzy buddies!

My 1st time to Westside Animal Clinic was wonderful. I'll definitely be a return customer. Our pets mean the world and we have always taken them to one vet, but we chose to take our new puppy closer to home. We are so happy with our decision. Westside took the time to talk to me about my new puppy. The doctor was so helpful. The receptionist were also fabulous and friendly. We will be back soon for more puppy stuff!
